i think it has pedal breaks but it has no kickstand

Just bought this bike last night and it does NOT have pedal brakes. It DOES have a kick stand.

The description above says &quot;Brakes: front and rear caliper brakes&quot;. So, no. There are no &quot;pedal brakes&quot;, which are actually called coaster brakes.

Does this bike have a kickstand and pedal brakes?

The description specifically says: &quot;Optimized for amazing tricks&quot;.  Now, whether or not YOU can do tricks on it, I can&#39;t really answer...

My son loves this bike. We ride all over the neighborhood and it gives him no problems. We even bought a water holder which he placed near the handle bars and fits perfectly.

Nice and decently priced beginner bike for a child - mine was 7 years old.  Smooth transaction via walmart.com but the delivery took 21 days to deliver.  Was it Covid-19?  Tracking info indicates that the order sat for over two weeks (it was in stock when ordering) then was quickly transported across the country.  When received, the bike had "acceptable" dings and scratches that comes travelling with ground delivery.  The bike was missing the wheel stunt pegs; did it fall out from the gaping hole on the side of the box?  My son did not mind so I did not either.  Minor assembly required (will need adjustable wrench and allen/hex keys):  front wheel, pedals and seat post; with the only other task, connecting the brake cables to the levers.  You may need to loosen the cable clamp nut/bolt on the brake caliper to get enough slack; then just re-tighten as you adjust per your braking preference.  You can check out Youtube for unboxings and how to assemble videos for needed help.  The bike is heavy and seems sturdy with no discernible issues.  Overall, my son loves the bike and that is all that matters.  But for us parents, the price and ease of install checked off my list.

assembly took a bit longer as we had to connect the brakes but was great. my son did however already break part of the chain guard from wreaking

great gift

I bought this for my god son who is 8 years old as a Christmas gift and he loves it. Very smooth ride and very easy to build but ording it online was a whole different experience I would not recommend doing that part.

Smooth ride

So this is my second bike in the mail. First bike I put together and nothing was going together right. First the rear tire came dented. You pedal the bike and it was wobbling all over the place. Second the breaks were horrible. Not safe for a kid at all. I did my best to tighten them and you still had to pull them all the way. I sent it back traded for another. Thanks to FedEx box was all messed up. Too some of the wrap of and noticed a nice scratch. Didn't really care cuz it's gonna get scratched anyways but still. Will just see how long this bike last.

For the price not worth the money
