excellent camera

This is my first "real" camera, aside from point and shoots. I am very happy with my camera so far. I feel it was a good deal for what all came in the package. Having two lens options is definitely nice! I want to take a class to better learn to use my new camera (the video was slightly helpful, but not enough info for a true amateur like myself). I look foreard to capturing my son on camera and all of nature :)

Amateur photographer

It may be a couple year old camera but look at what you get for under $500. It comes with 2 different lens, a nice bag and a SD card. It takes great pictures that make our IPhone 5s and Samsung S4 pictures look bad. If you can afford the latest model for over twice the price go for it. If you buy this you won't be disappointed.

Great camera with 2 lens

This camera does the job it is meant to do. No complaints. Keep in mind, this is not your sophisticated, photographer's camera.

Does The Job

Love this camera so far. Still getting used to all the settings and what kind of pictures to use them for. The extended lense is a plus, but not sure how to use it yet. The main lense that comes with with this camera doesn't zoom too far- so the additional lense helps for far distances. The only annoyance so far is you can't turn the shutter or flash noise when it takes a picture. Yes it's a DSLR so it's like this for every DSLR but I wish there was a way to turn it off! Worth your money- great memories captured so far!

T5 is very easy to use and for the beginner like me with SLR needs to get used with the settings. More u play more u explore it. Very nice camera and quality.

This camera is amazing. It's my first dslr and it's been really easy to learn and takes great pictures. This bundle is great because you get a memory card that holds thousands of pictures and the bower kit is great too. I didn't think I would need it since the camera comes with a strap and camera case and such but the case that comes in the bower kit is so much nicer than the canon one. I am very happy with my purchase.

I do not have any experience with DSLR cameras and I bought this when my granddaughter was born. My pics that I take look like a photographer too them. I put it in auto mode and it does its own thing and my pics are flawless. For a photographer this may not have as many features as they would like. I LOVE this camera and recommend it to every!!

Best Camera I have ever owned

Was had the interest in photography, went from a Minolta 35mm to a point and shoot. Always wanted a DLSR but the price outrageous, thought I could always find a deal @ Wal-Mart. This package was too good to pass up, it gives me the freedom to explore and experiment and have fun doing it. Can't wait to see the possibilities unfold......

Good Start Camera

Do yourself a favor and don't buy this camera. Canon took a semi-decent camera from 4 years-ago and repackaged it. It's missing several features that you'll find on newer, entry-level cameras. Do your research, especially read a good CNET review on this very subject, and spend your money on a better camera (like the not-so-old but much better Canon T3i).
