Love it.  My mother has a Chicago Cutlery set that she has had since I was born  60 years ago, I have always wanted one.  I finally got the money so I bought a set for my Birthday.  I wish I would have done this a long time ago .

Great Knife set

These knives are sharp, easy to handle and nice looking. They cut precisely. I was hesitant about the handles being a non slip grip, thinking they were going to be a soft-squishy grip, but they aren't. They work great and I'm very pleased with them.

Awesome knife set. Single tang with good grip and beautiful weight. The set has two Santorum knives which are my go to knives. Shipped fast also.

Excellent knives

I wrote this review for the functionally identical Chicago Cutlery Fusion 18-Piece Cutlery Set (the slight cosmetic differences are limited to the wood block), Walmart item #001492152. Every bit applies equally to this knife set:

I've owned this set for about a year. Knives were sharp out of the box, but more importantly they sharpen easily and hold their edge well. I am very satisfied with with their build or construction quality, their usability. This set has an optimally useful, well chosen selection of knives. I paid $80 for them on a price promotion, this represents excellent value for money.

After 1 month I bought a second set as a gift, and the recipient is thoroughly delighted.

I just bought a 3rd set, also as a gift, and the current price is $100. This knife set is easily worth the price.

Escellent value for money

You can use all of the 17 knives in you kitchen you will never ran out knives. It took me more than a week to decide for this set. I'm very satisfied with this choice.

They are beautiful, sharp, and well constructed.  Well balanced and do the job. These were on sale when i purchased and the initial impression is fantastic.

The knives need to be sharpened frequently but are a good metal.  My 2 chief's knives both broke in the handle because the steel does not go all the way through the handle.  It is plastic and can not take much pressure without breaking.  With that said I called Chicago Cutlery from the # on there web site 800-999-3436 and after 10 minutes on hold I did get ahold of someone and they told me not to take it back to the store they will handle the warranty through the company.  I gave them the information on what I bought and which 2 broke and they processed the warranty on the phone and will ship the 2 broken knives to me.  So that make up for any bad feeling I had when they broke.  They definitely stand behind there product.

Good knife and good warrenty backing.

Very sharp and well balanced.  Nice knife block.  I do think it is critical that knives are washed by hand and dried.  They will spot otherwise.
The assortment of knives is good and the steak knives actually are quite solid and feel good in your hand.
