I bought this about a month ago and it is wonderful. It does a great job keeping the living room warm. My dogs stay in front of it all the time. It is beautiful especially at night, It looks like a real fire. I am so glad I bought this, I am very happy with it.

I haven't used this yet, but I do have it "hooked up" and I love it!  The only thing disappointing was the fact it was on sale for an even lower price right after I purchased it.  Oh well, "Say Lavee"  (I think that's French for "you win some you lose some", lol)

Love It!

I bought this for my son's apartment. It is just the right size and I got it for a great price. He uses the crystals that came with it or he can switch to the logs or rocks. Love just staring at it when I'm visiting him.

Great purchase

Heater works great.  Fireplace works and has colors to choose from.  Not sure why unless you use the included crystals in some way fancy uptown place.  But when you do not have a fireplace it is better than nothing.

Nice for a fake fireplace/heater

Excellent delivery time, excellent product, only draw back is that it came without in installation booklet and remote control.  Called support for help, Rep not sure about how to operate but mailed out missing items immediately and received 3 days later.  Very happy now with the fireplace and its appearance.

Fireplace Review

Nice unit for the price. Set up was simple and we decided to use the log as the theme. Came with glass beads and fake coals as well. The remote works fine and from 15 ft away. With only 10 days of ownership I can't attest to its durability so 4 0ut of 5 stars. The main reason we purchased this heater was to run it in front of our gas fireplace insert. While this electric unit doesn't put out 30,000 btu's, at 5,100 btu's it costs only 15 cents per hour to run verses $1.50 for our gas insert.

Exactly what I expected

Bought this unit off Sams Club auction at a good low price. Unit came within 3 days of purchased and was pretty much fully assembled upon arrival.  Has some pretty cool features and is nice for heating a small area.

Only thing I wish was a bit better was the fan power, as there is just a low and high, but high doesn't seem all that strong when blowing.

Nice unit for the Price!

Although the box was not damaged,  the entire fireplace was damaged inside. The wood is split and chipped in several places.  2 screws were missing and its incredibly wobbly. The grate that covers the power button is a twisted piece of metal that looks awful.  I would not recommend this.  Pay a bit more and get a better fireplace. I have another one in my bedroom that was 220.00 that I bought from menards and it has been awesome for 6 years.  Thought this one would work for my basement rec room.  Hardly heats it. The inside colors are neat though, only positive thing I can say.

Severe damage

When we unpacked the unit, we found the ceramic logs were broken.  A call to Lifesource customer no-service was a horrible experience.

Arrived Broken

I cannot review this product because it came busted up. This makes it impossible to give any stars or recommend to a friend. Had to give one star to be able to send this review, so the one star (poor) does not really apply to the product .  I returned for refund. I will take a chance and order again and hope for better shipment.
