The paddles that accompany this kayak are excellent.

They are quite decent. If you want any other features you can buy separate paddles.

howgood are the paddles with this kayak ?

We do not recommend using our kayaks out on the ocean. Our kayaks are designed for flat water use only. Our kayaks do come with scupper holes for draining any water that gets on top of the kayak.

Has anyone taken one out in the ocean for fishing? And does it come with drain holes in the floor?

Unfortunately we do not have a different high back seat option for this kayak.

I was looking for something to take out on the like while my family does some car camping. I didn't need anything fancy or room for cargo. This rides three very comfortably and you can fit another small kid and ride four. It's exactly what we were looking for. Something simple and not to fancy. It's light enough for one person to load it and unload it as well. We are very pleased.

I had an issue with a blade on my kayak paddle, probably caused by my own ineptitude. I contacted customer service and they shipped at their expense a new paddle out to me. If their products are lifetime then so is my loyalty. Thank you!

We bought this tandem at the yearly sale and got a great deal! My hubby loves to zen out on his tandem. We even took with us on our vacation to Flathead Lake Montana where our kids and grandkids got to enjoy time with nature riding grandpas tandem kayak. Great product!

First time request for plugs for our kayak which we have had for four or 5 years.  Jonathan, our customer service rep. was quick to accommodate our need and we will shortly have what we need.  JOY!

A wonderful surprise

Best purchase I've ever made. I love this kayak. I am near 300lb and I can use this kayak with both of my kids sitting in front of me and it's very stable. We've put in hundreds of hours on fresh water and salt water here in the PNW and it's a load of fun. Not fast, but easy to control. Never flipped. I would recommend buying some marine corrosion inhibitor spray for the clips that attach the seats. They can get salt deposits if not rinsed thoroughly after salt water. Would absolutely buy again.

I bought two of these kayaks in July and was so excited to take them to the reservoir near our cabin.  We took our family and my sister's family and we spent the whole day taking turns on the kayaks.  They were so easy to get on and off, and very easy to paddle and steer.  We are looking forward to many years of fun with our new Lifetime kayaks and plan to add more to our collection!

So easy to use!

We love these kayaks.  We wanted a couple of kayaks that would work for our family, four kids.  These kayaks are perfect as they hold three people comfortably.  We took them to Bear Lake for the weekend and they were a blast.  We had a great time cruising the lake.  Very easy to transport as well!  Very glad that I made this purchase. Awesome Kayak For Our Family

I bought this kayak about 4 years ago, it still holding strong. Not the fastest but super stable. I have even taken it to the ocean with waves and it handles great.

I ordered 2 Kayaks.  One was fine but the other had a seam that was not molded together in the scupper hole.  I would have given fiver stars if one of them was not defective.  I welded together and problem solved but others may not have been able to do so.  On the positive these are designed perfectly for my family as they are great for kids.  They can help paddle, sit anywhere they would like and jump off of if they would like.  The most stable boat I have ever been on.  As an adult i can even stand on it and even pull myself up onto it without any issues of them rolling over or tipping.  Tracking is good with one person but once you start adding people just like any other kayak it does slow it down but that is expected.  Again Great Kayak for a family who enjoys recreational use and enjoying the lake.

This kayak is not meant for speed, but does fairly well.  Windy conditions will cause it to go left to right more.

Good quality for the price, and the kids love it.  I enjoy taking solo rides as well.   Love that it doesn't tip, especially when the kids are with me.  Would be nice if the backrests were slightly taller.  And a storage compartment is needed.  But very impressed with this purchase.  Great exercise for the entire family.
