I bought the purple trunk for my daughter the color is very nice but the trunk is a lot smaller in person than it looks online.

If you are asking if it comes intact, yes. It's ready to use right out of the box. I ordered the blue one and it said it was blue with black trim and that's exactly what it looked like.

If by "key" you mean a two-prong generic metal piece that opens every similar trunk, then yes. But if you mean something that can *only* be used on that specific trunk, then no.

Yes it has a key but you will need a lock you can open it with a paper clip

Yes it has a key. It is they type to keep out the curious. The key is similar to that of the diaries made for kids (flat stamped metal), not like a bike lock key. It would keep someone out if they were just looking but it is not a very sturdy lock so if someone was determined to get in after something they knew was in there they probably could. (We got it for our son to take to camp but we won't be sending anything valuable with him and when he goes to college with it we'll be sending a locking file cabinet with a real key.)

it has a key just for decoration. it has a place where you can put your own lock on it. the key that comes with it is obselete bceasue there is a button that still will open the trunk

This has a very cheap key lock that could be picked with a screw driver in three seconds. It also allows for a separate lock which would be more secure but keep in mind this is not a lock box. One good kick and someone could break it apart.

It does lock, comes with 2 keys. There is also a place to put your own small padlock.

Very generic ones, if you plan on using this truck opt for a more expensive one..
