It will,but it is a good 3 foot long folded up

Packed up it's approx. 8" Dia x 40" long...and 26 lbs. Probably pretty heavy/bulky for hauling on a cycle, although I used to pack a military-style duffle bag vertically that strapped in front the old 'sissy bar' that we used to use (many many years ago) and I used it as a great backrest. Keep in mind that much weight standing that high messes with the bike's center of gravity and its handling. Other than something like that I'm not sure where/how you'd mount if for any extended riding...it's a large pack for a bike.

Bottom line - I think it's a bit big/heavy for using with a motorcycle.

The bag, with the tent packed inside, is 41 inches long, 9 inches high and 9 inches wide.
A little bit bulky for a motorcycle, but could be done.

My Harley is apprx. 36 inches wide counting bags . I think it would ride sideways quite ok

No, this cot does not have any bars that cross under the body to make your sleeping situation uncomfortable. We designed this cot to not have that, in order to be more comfortable while you sleep.

No cross 'bars' - only a wide (6" ?) heavy nylon strap, right near the middle, which is where the biggest body weight will (should) be.
Absolutely nothing to jab you in the back, if that's what you're concerned about. Absolutely comfortable - not unlike the old canvas-style army cots in the way they feel.

No, you won't feel any cross bars under you. I've had that problem with other types of cots before, but not this one. It is very comfortable by itself, but with a 1 inch self-inflating air mattress on top, it is the most comfortable camp bed I've ever had!

Does this cot have any cross bars that cross under the body when lying on it?

Mine had 2 leaks at the window seam and maybe other seams even though they look well sealed with heat-bonded seam tape. I'm going to add seam sealer to the leaky seam and re-test. The manufacturer recommends adding seam sealer before first use and at the start of each camping season. Other than that one leaky seam with 2 leak spots on mine, it seems watertight in the rain. So far, I only tested it on 1 rainy day. Time will tell.

Update: It rained most of the day today, a steady light rain. I left the tent outside all day with the fly all closed up except its vent was open. The tent fly definitely will need a coating or two of waterproofing spray. The fly has an interior bonded layer that seems to be the usual polyurethane waterproofing membrane that lots of tents have, but in this case water does ooze through it and drips onto the tent. There were wet spots on the ceiling mesh all over the tent and puddles on the cot. I'll do the seam sealer first, then after that's dry, I'll give 2 coats of waterproofing spray to the outside of the fly, with drying time between coats. That worked great on my conventional dome tent, so I expect it will solve the water oozing problem of this cot tent.

Update #2: I sealed the window seam that was leaking where the straps are sewn in, using Gear Aid Seam Grip which is for polyurethane-coated tent fly seams. I gave the fly interior surface a coat of Gear Aid Tent Sure Tent Floor Sealant to enhance the waterproofing that was factory applied. (To do that, I turned the fly inside-out and put it onto the tent, then painted on the sealant with a disposable foam paintbrush.) I also applied some duct tape on the 4 corners of the inside-out fly where it rests on the poles, to help prevent damage to the waterproof coating when the fly is mounted normally. Then I tested with many sprays from a hose nozzle. It&#39;s waterproof now. i&#39;ll test it in a long rain, if we get one in this long California drought, but even if not tested again, I&#39;m confident that I&#39;ll be dry on a camping trip.

product looks great ; set up time is just minutes and very simple; keeps you from sleeping on the hard ground. this tent cot is for my son, where were you when I was a scout fifty years ago

take this to the woods, set it up under a tarp, and your good to go. sets up without the rain fly in 30 seconds. rain fly takes a couple of minutes to get on. read instructions. it tells you the right way to install it. very comfy. holds my weight fine. wouldn't use as a stand alone. better with another cover.Very fast set up and take down. great for a one nighter or emergency shelter.

super easy set up and pack up

Heavier then expected so not good for back pack camping. Set up is easy but terrain has to be level. First night in a rain storm it kept me dry and comfortable.

So far I'm impressed with the build quality. Nice design - very logical - very efficient design.
I haven't taken them (bought two) out to the field to test them yet so I can only comment on things I see in a controlled environment (the garage).
Despite what other people are saying, the zippers should indeed open at the feet-end as they are designed. That is where you will swing your feet out from first and keep your concentrated weight over the center strap/band which is there for added strength.
It is plenty roomy inside and comfortable but any movement makes the webbing material 'squeek' as it rubs over the metal frame or the 'strengthening band' rubs the main webbing. I'll be investigating ways to minimize this.
I bought these in hopes of being able to use them on kayaking trips down rivers in Florida. The weight could be a real issue (just like everyone states - they are HEAVY) and I won't know until we try strapping them on the back of the boats just how practical they will be. 26lbs is really pushing it. In the name of great sleeping comfort we might have to pick some other things to leave behind to save on weight.
The number one thing about these cots is the comfort/advantage of getting up off the ground!
One other thing. In looking at the feet on the cots I question how much they'll tend to just sink into the loose Florida sand, so I'm planning on using some small/cheap/light 'Magic Mover Furniture Sliders' (Item #40071) from HarborFreight.com to place under the feet to spread out the footprint/force.
If they prove incompatible with kayak camping we'll use them for occasional car/truck camping instead.
Finding the camo version on a closeout sale helped convince me to give them a try.

It is comfortable, easy to get in and out. I have not used it in rainy weather yet. Rainfly does cover the cot well. Very happy with the tent cot.
