Although I have never needed it at 5&#39; I would be OK with it judging from its sturdiness.

It can be used on uneven ground.  The stability part of uneven ground would be what would concern me.  I think for uneven ground you need stabilizers.

This product is a tool. It is excellent for its intended purpose!

Great product!

I've only had this scaffold for a week or so, but it's already paid for its self. If I'd rented one, it would have already cost over $100 more than its price, and I'm just beginning to do the things I got it for. Right now I'm working on repairing some water damage to my ceilings in my family room and master bath. Once those are finished, I'll be repairing facia and soffit, and re-caulking the outside of my home. These projects alone will wind up taking several weeks due to weather and other issues. Rental fees are $45 to $50 plus per day along with a hefty deposit, that is when you can find one, even then, you have to get it on their schedule not yours. This was a great investment. It's well constructed, has OSHA and ANSI approval and is easy to assemble. The heaviest parts are the casters and platform. Once you get it out of the box, it's easy to handle. It's much safer than trying to work off a ladder. One word of caution, "BE SURE TO LOCK THE CASTERS BEFORE YOU GET ON IT!". I also like the 2 inch adjustability, that'll definitely come in handy when I move outside. I know I'll be using this scaffold for many projects down the road. I've already made a few accessories to hold my tools, cords and air hoses out of the way once I get outside as well as safety straps that I'll attach to the house while working on the higher areas. I needed to keep the dust down, so I made a make-shift plastic wrap around that I could adjust up or down as needed for the pitch of the ceiling. I'm totally satisfied with this purchase. Other places want $250-$400 plus for a similar scaffold with a different brand. If you have household projects to do and don't want to have to deal with a ladder this is the tool for you. The only reason I have the ladder around is to get on the platform, this 60 year old man's not quite as agile as he used to be lol.

Just What I Needed

Bought two to work on an 18' ceiling.  Incredible value, cost me less than a 10 day rental. Plenty stable.  Easily assembled.  Easily adjustable. I was able to assemble the second scaffold on top of the first one without assistance.

Bought two of these to reach our 18ft ceiling in our living room. They worked great, i felt safe on the top of both sets  (with outriggers on), there is a bit of a shake to them. For the money these are a great buy and theyll last for years to come.

Good for indoor tall jobs!

I needed help of one other person for set up. Easy to do. Felt safe reaching my 12 foot ceilings. Wheels function well. I used  with the additional cage.  With both gates closed feels secure.

I knew it was going to be a nightmare when i saw all the damages to the box! It looked like they had used 2 rolls of packaging tape trying to fix all the holes and rips in the box. When i opened the box it was missing ALL of the wheels(casters) and the lock pins for the wheels and papers and instructions. I cant get a replacement. Now i have to load this thing up in my truck and take it to my local Wal-Mart to return it. its very big and super heavy. And i know im going to get hassled by the customer service department due to the box damage even though its not my fault!! I dont understand why they just cant ship me the wheels!!
