It is pretty easy to assemble. We had an electric drill with a phillips head but could be done with just the screw driver alone. You will need a hammer also and that is about it.

I'd say it's not too hard to put together. Just take your time and follow the directions. As for tools, we used a hammer and Philips screwdriver.

Sorry, I only said that you needed a hammer and a Phillips screwdriver and didn't answer the rest of your question. It took me a couple of hours to put it together, but the instructions are very clear and easy to understand.

As listed, screw driver, Phillips and straight head and hammer. Directions are quite good.

A screwdriver and a power screwdriver. Some screws needs reg driver and some need power(long screws) DONT OVERTIGHTEN.

All you need is a Phillips Head Screwdriver (powered would be best but not a necessity) and a small hammer. A razor knife would also come in handy to open the parts pouches and to neatly cut out the openings for the cable guides in the back (again, this is not a necessity).

phillips screw driver, NOT a power screw driver as someone said ( its says right in directions not to use a power screw driver) you dont NEED a hammer. you can tap the bottom tacks in with the back of a screw driver and I just used extra screws to screw on the cardboard back ( my neighbor was borrowing my hammer

It is darker than it appears on the box. Does not look like Cherry.

It is not cherry, but a darker oak color. Maybe like a walnut color.

It is a darker color, a lot darker than what the picture shows. It does have a cherry look to it. It is a beautiful piece.

It&#39;s not cherry like we are used to in the 80&#39;s that looked kinda black/purple. This is brown. It looks good with my old maple stuff. definitely darker than what is selling as oak.

It depends on your own ability. If you have put together any type of engineered furniture before this will be easy. The directions are clear. Just make sure that you carefully open the package and lay everything out.

All the pieces are labeled and the pictures also help to show which ones go where. Overall, I would say it is easy to put together, but it is heavy so be careful.

this is really easy,i advice two people to put together.

I am a 56 yr old woman and I took my time with it , it took me 4 hours to put it together. Using a small cordless power drill made it easier until it ran out of power, which was my fault, for not powering it up the night before. Some people might get it done in 2 hours, but for me, working on it alone, and wanting to do it right the first time, it took me 4 hours, on a quilt covered floor (to protect the floor and the tv cabinet) and it helped me to scoot around as I was putting it together. I love this cabinet, and am very happy I got it, it really looks like an expensive piece of furniture.
