It is real easy to assemble just follow the instructions, you just need an L wrench it comes with the machine.

This is well constructed and easy to use.  All that is needed is a chair to sit in, bring the bike up to your feet, hold the handles and pedal away.  It doesn't slide out from under the user either.  Can pedal at your own pace.

I have suffer from a stroke and this bike is excellent for the weakness that I have. Using this bike has strengthened both my arm and leg. I'm glad I made this purchased. This is very easy to put together so easy my 13 year old son did it.

I love this ! You can even set in a recliner and lay back in a "recumbent" position and use it. Very easy to move around. Lightweight and easy to use.

Works Great !

A mini cycle was recommended by a physical therapist for my father after leaving a nursing home, I researched online and read many reviews and chose this one because it could be used for both arms and feet. Assembly was pretty easy, all tools needed were included, I tested the base grips on carpet and linoleum and it didn't slip at all. The peddles are a little jerky which I thought would be a problem but my father had no complaints. The only reason I didn't give it five stars was because the knob  to loosen the bar so you can switch from feet to arms was a little difficult for him to do. Overall a great exercise machine plus the price was unbeatable and an extra 2 year warranty was only $2.

Would give it 4 1/2 stars if I could

It works fine,but not a smooth peddle more of a jerky motion.Be persistent with it and you will get a good leg workout.

great for the price

I bought this a month ago, worked great, easy to assemble. After one month of daily use, it starts squeaking ng after using it for about ten minutes. Anyone have a suggestion for this problem? Can't find any plea to oil it.

This product was inexpensive but poorly manufactured. Two of the holes were off center and thus the screws did not fit. It was wobbly on the floor as a result. One of the screws was supposed to secure the bar that flips the pedals into the top position, but because the hole was off center it would not lock.

Not a good deal

I purchased this for my mother and had high hopes since I actually did a lot of research on it. The box was clearly marked that it was supposedly approved by the Arthritis Foundation but I find that very hard to believe after seeing it. But I'll start with putting it together...

The directions were pretty simple. Some of the holes didn't line up well. The straps on the pedals were on the opposite sides as far as we felt so we switched them to stop the Velcro "flap" rubbing on the metal as you exercise. After about 5 minutes, trust us, that will drive you nuts!!! But a little creative tweak here and there got the machine together. We do wish the screw to change the position was actually a pin system of some sort for easier/faster switching.

Other suggestions all about Balance of the machine:
*It will topple forward to the floor with the lightest touch and yes I put it together right and even had others check it because I questioned that first too. I suggest some kind of weight on the opposite side. I'm going to try ankle or wrist weights that can wrap around the center bar.
*Little "feet" are not big enough to stabilize it and they don't stay in place so I either have to keep bending over and fixing them back in place all the time or just go ahead and glue them
*Don't leave it pedals up like we did for a while, trust me that hurts if you get caught by it falling.

My lesson has been learned, don't throw out the box before you are 100% sure just because you research.
