love these new tools , they have the sizes on each one in big font and are easily seen, they feel great in your hands , good quality tools for the money for the home mechanic or the professional , in my opinion they are equal too or maybe better than craftsman.

Just what I was looking for at a great price

Good deal

Tools are great, but the case is not practical. Too hard to remove and replace sockets.

I like the tools!

Set has good coverage of all the sizes down to small sockets, set came with a weird sticky finish that had to be cleaned off. The laser etched size markings are low contrast on the SAE sizes because they used narrow fonts that blurred with the background. The metric sizes are okay because they only needed to print two digits instead of trying to squeeze in four.
The 1/4" drive ratchet selector lever wouldn't stay in position reliably when using it, hopefully it may improve after some more use to wear in the rough machining.
The case holds the sockets and wrenches very tightly, to the point where it's difficult to take out, I usually  first take out and use the extension bar to help pry the sockets out. While it's better than being loose and allowing the sockets to get scattered when being transported in the case, it's not as ideal as my other sets where the sockets just sit in a well for easy extraction, but the lid of the case keeps all the sockets in place when closed.

Comprehensive, markings and ratchet rough

The down side is you really don't 171 different pieces a lot of the bits you get 3 and 4 of the same ones and on the 3/8 socket set you don't get a 16,17or 19mm socket. But as a whole its still not a bad deal and the bonus 1/4" set helps it to be more of a good deal

Works fine for occasional use, quality is kinda mediocre. Price was good though.

Descent Basic Tool Set

This set has a great selection of bits and sizes, but the black finish comes off on your hands, which is why I would not recommend it to a friend.

The tool set is nice but there are a lot of little bits that make up the 171 pieces. The socket sizes are pretty small and don't go above a 15 mm so if your doing any real work for a 3/8 drive then you will need to buy larger sockets to compliment the set.
