Yes but it has trouble getting over my rug to get onto the carpet.

Yes it does work on carpet. My grandson has one that he plays with on berber carpeting.

Our Zoomie has worked well on medium and deep pile carpet. Zoomie is quite light and for its size and weight has powerful motors.

Mamma, Indeed Zoomer will work on carpet, but he will be much faster on other surfaces. He will still easily respond to his Commands, but his movements on the ground will be slightly slower due to the thickness of the carpet.

Great Question. Charge time is approximately 1 hour for both Zoomie and Zoomer and operating time ranges from 20-30 minutes. Please wait 10-15 minutes before recharging to let the internal battery cool down.

Yes you have to buy a adapter for the wall, one that fits iPhones work.

No ... Zoomie needs to be charged (rechargeable battery) but no other needs.

USB cable included will need to be plugged into computerto charge Zoomie up.

Does just what they say! If you don't practice Zoomie forgets. When he gets distracted, he goes around in circles and even lifts his leg! Easily sits, lays down, tries to roll over. Pretty amazing little pet.

DOES JUST WHAT THEY SAY!

This is a Christmas present for my daughters (7 yrs and 4 yrs). They always want a real pet dog. But we can't manage to take care of that. This Zoomie Robot Dog is a excellent idea. They chose it as Christmas present instead of a real dog.

Before the girls meet the robot pet in Christmas morning I have to make sure it works without any problem as complained by other parents. After the girls fell asleep at night I tried it out with my wife. The dog looks cute and feel nice and soft in hand. It works as described. Charging took 1 hr. That kept it actively running around barking for about 17 min. Then need recharge. Here I had a problem. The dog looks dead after running out of power and couldn't be recharged. Finally, I figured it out that the power switch must be turned off for about 10 sec and back on. Then I plugged in the power cord and it worked.

Overall we are satisfied with the robot dog. I'm sure the girls will love it.

Great Christmas present

Zoomie provides entertainment for children. However, it requires too frequent charging and charge does not last long. It takes time to give commands but is fun to watch when it understands the command. My grands love it.

Overall, the robot dog was a hit for my nine year old nephew (he has the blk and white color). He loved it since he is not able to have a real dog. The only thing is that it is super small. Its more of a small puppy than a dog. You have to continually train the dog so sometimes my nephew gives it a command, and it will not do it at first, but I feel that this will allow him to have patience. Overall, it is a good toy and I would recommend it. It is also cool that this dog interacts with the pink and white dog.

Great Dog for Kids

I bought this for my daughter for Christmas so she hasn't gotten it yet but, I got it out and charged it and turned it on. It was really cute and fun to play with and watch it react. She is going to love it.

Great toy

I bought this as a christmas gift for my five year old. As it isn't Christmas yet, we haven't seen it in action, however my rating is based on speed of delivery, safe arrival of the package and the variety that was available at Walmart. I have not seen this Zoomie at any other store and the price was either the same or cheaper then the other stores. I feel confident that it will be a big hit come the 25th!

preliminary review

This is such a cute dog and works exactly as described, however the battery life is awful. 30-45mins of playtime before you have to charge for 1 hour. Plus you have to wait until the dog is drained before you charge it. AND you have to wait 10mins before you plug it in. The kids LOVE this dog, but it is not worth the money since the playtime is limited. It was such a disappointment for the kids. They really would play with it longer if the battery lasted longer. BATTERY life is horrible not worth the money

First of all, the directions state that for one hour of charging you get 20-30 minutes of play time with the dog.???? They couldn't make that better? At least the directions spelled that out? Anyway, that's all we got, because after that initial 30 minutes of play, the dog would not charge again. We plugged it into 5 different sources but after that initial charge it never worked again. We returned it. For that price, we decided not to bother trying with another one.
