I would first like to say that the edges on ALL the panels are VERY sharp. WEAR GLOVES or enjoy the emergency room for several hours with a slashed wrist, just like I did!! Seriously, it was almost pretty grim. WEAR GLOVES - you'vbe been warned. With that said, by the end of assembly, all the sharp edges are covered with trim pieces thereby preventing any potential injuries after it's assembled. It took me about 5 hours by myself (with the odd helping hand from my 10 year old daughter. There are a few times when you simply need another pair of hands to hold things steady while you locate a screw in it's appropriate hole. This is particularly prevalent at the beginning stages when the shed hasn't yet gained it's full stability. After the 4 sides are on, the assembly was pretty methodical and straight forward. I had to re-read some pages a few times, and I found that it helped if I read ahead a couple of steps to better underdstand what was coming next. A good 10 minute read through before touching your first screwdriver is time well spent. I did this and barely had to ever retrace my steps and undo anything. A small stepladder is helpful but I used a dining chair and it was fine. I also used the large cardboard box to protect my floors during assembly as I did mine inside. Be sure to measure your door opening before doing this!
Now it's all together, I can see that this is not a lifetime shed but do you seriously expect it to be for $200? I would not be the least bit surprised to still own this shed in 10 years time. It's metal and is angled to ensure rain runs off so there's no reason to think that it will deteriorate quickly. I have owned some plastic sheds in the past and the weak point on those was the hinges and the parts that secured the sides. This shed will not suffer in this manner as each panel has many screws in it to make them stable and secure. I used a very small, handheld power screwdriver, not a drill type, and it worked perfectly. I stripped one or two screws but that's it. Anything larger would NOT work well. A magnetic bit also helped MASSIVELY when trying to locate a screw in a (tiny) hole when also trying to hold the 2 parts in place.
Overall, I'd buy this again and again. I researched this purchase heavily and nothing else came close for anywhere near this price point. I'm impressed with it and satisfied that, if assembled and positioned correctly, it will stand the test of time.
Read the reviews that have 4 or 5 stars as they have the most helpful tips, but I think I've covered everything here.
Good luck, and WEAR GLOVES!!!!!
If you consider all of that before your purchase and are honest about your capabilities (a liquid level, power drill and full selection of bits, headlamp, quality ruler or tape measure, step stool, wood or chairs for bracing, and plenty of space for assembly), this is a fantastic shed and worth the time to build. Know this: its bottom is not sealed against water (so construct a proper floor or accept that rainwater may drain under the shed); it is not tall enough for a 72" man to stand upright inside; there are extra washers and screws provided, but no other spare parts.
The sliding door and lock holes alone make this shed worth the effort, but it also drains rain off the roof well and is spacious enough inside for several bicycles and yard tools.
“Absolutely, Daniel. We’re two strapping young men with an assortment of handyman skills, experience, and available tools. This should be a breeze!”
The first two steps certainly were smooth sailing. Sure, we needed to re-drill a few of the holes on the base so the included screws would actually catch. We expected that there would be a few inconsistencies from a metal shed purchased online for a discount.
Watch that third step, though. The instructions literally warn you not to attempt construction without setting aside “MANY HOURS” and to have at least one other person helping.
It was 12:45, we were two talented lads with the metaphoric wind at our back, and 4.5 hours seemed like many at the time. We were wrong.
The roof has just received its last screw as the clock struck 5:10. If a shed could cross its arms and leer condescendingly with a sarcastic smile, it certainly was doing so as it stood there without a door. Many hours, indeed! We had to resume the project the following day, where it only took another hour to assemble and install the door.
Does it work? Yup. Do I trust the lock enough to store gold coins or expensive items in there? Nope. Will it keep rain and other undesirable outdoorsy things out? Absolutely. Could it stand up to prolonged exposure to strong gusts of wind or stormy weather? Without a doubt.
Once assembled, it’s about as good as it gets— if done so correctly. Best of luck. This shed will test you on many, many levels. Holes won’t always match up. Screws won’t always grab. Instructions aren’t always clear.
Do you trust yourself to not give up when the chips are down? Can you maintain a level head when your work partner loses his cool when challenges arise? Are you ok with having to make adjustments to the program on the fly to ensure this project will reach completion?
Do you have many hours to build this shed?
If the answer is no to any of these questions, buy a more expensive plastic or wood shed.

My complaint is the door track. The screws for the front panel block the door track from moving. To make it work, I had to shave the domino sort of track device to compensate for the screws sticking out. I reread the instructions a bazillion times over to make sure I wasn’t crazy first. I got stuck inside it and had to call my roommate for help.
Luckily I had my cell phone with me haha.
All in all, a shed delivered to my door for $300 or so bucks was a total steal compared to the available options in local stores!
Get a friend to help. I did a lot by myself but needed more hands for a few parts for sure.
FYI Incase you missed it in the ad, it doesn’t have a floor, make sure you aware of that. This is great for uneven ground. Just throw a pallet down inside it and you’re G2G.
Quality is what you expect from the price.
Arrived way before expected ship date.
Only one small error in the drawings of the latching for the doors as one of the pieces was bent differently than drawn or maybe originally intended.
Came together well in the end.
Only thing I plan to do from other comments is a maintenance paint job as soon as any potential rust starts to show. Might do it before.
