The number one thing about the PC is that the fans run loud. If that is a dealbreaker, avoid this. For me, the computer runs great and smooth. It's relatively lightweight for a full-sized PC and the cable management is solid. Comes with some programs off the bat that you might want to uninstall if you're a power user.

Smooth Sailing So Far

I have had this PC for 3 months now. This is my first PC and i feel it was a great option to start out with. I did upgrade the ram and added another ssd. It runs most games at the highest graphics settings. I do plan on adding another fan to the case, but it does very well on cooling for only having one.

Awesome starter

got this to play MSFS 2020 and other sim games. this machine pulls through very good on good details..i havent pushed it to its limits yet but it looks like it can take the load. it would've been nice to have more RAM memory but they can be installed later as well. the glow light setup amazing too..but you also have to get corresponding keyboard/mouse to do the same. the keyboard/mouse this comes with are just basic and will serve as an extra backup pair in case you r keyboard/mouse gives out. other than that.. this is very gaming PC.

good gaming PC

After a week, there are only  a couple things that bug me.  1) the fan gets pretty loud - i wear a headset and can still hear it often.  2) a serious lack of documentation about the computer - no info/manual about the components.  I'd like to see if i can install an ssd i had on my old computer as a secondary drive, but there's no info on the motherboard to be found, and I'd rather know what I'm dealing with before opening it up!

I waited until Black Friday to buy my first gaming PC and got this at a deal. As others have stated, it can be loud when playing games. I was going to upgrade the CPU cooler and add more fans, but do not want to void the warranty. Other than the sound, PC runs great.

Great but Loud. Needs better Cooling

This thing is garbage.  ASUS may have made the best motherboards on the planet, but their systems are severely flawed.  I am not sure if it is the ASUS bloatware, or the BIOS that cause all the problems, but this is the most flawed computer I have ever bought or built.
On startup, it throws a message "The last USB device connected was not recognized."  It does this with no USB devices connected.
When connected to a KVM switch, it blocks every other pc from using the Display Port monitors.  You have to disconnect its DP for the others to work. 
It randomly stops recognizing the keyboard and mouse, or will accept the mouse, but with only the left and right button.  Won't even scroll.
It randomly freezes completely.  No programs open, except what ASUS keeps in the background.  The keyboard and mouse are active and lit up, but will not respond to input.  You can even disconnect and move them.  No change.  You have to hard boot the machine, and that is not a great idea, ever.
I purchased this on sale, and it was still a giant waste of money.  Computers are supposed to make life better.  This ASUS gaming machine is less reliable than an HP,  That almost takes conscious effort.

Last ASUS build I will buy

There is no operating system, Tried installing one manually, pc doesnt even detect the Nvme, Tried installing drivers for that, still doesnt work. If it had worked it would be a great item. Will tinker for a bit longer, if it doesnt work definitely returning

No Operating system and other issues

I in the end never got my product, I did the digital signature because I work all the time, just wanted to make sure I would actually get it. In the end both Walmart and FedEx didn't help me because of this , over a technicality someone got my $1,380 PC purchase for free. I lost $1,380 but somehow I feel like they called me a liar.

Everything was perfect about this ROG Strix Asus, killer deal, I mean, 1300 for an rtx 3080, sounds like a dream, that is until it started showing its true colors.
I started experiencing artifacts 2 days into it, not even next level use cases, basic usage for a card of this caliber.
A complete disappointment, I wanted to leave a glowing 5✨️ review for this but it's almost impossible, its a birthday present for myself, and now I must return it, I wish that I could just get a replacement instead of either refund through walmart or RMA to manufacturer;
Because i really wanted this, but I got the bad hand and must deal with it as a problem and not as a present.... I'm just so frustrated, I worked on this all day everyday for weeks, I worked on this after I got off work, on my birthday, it was like wackamole trying to troubleshoot.
I Couldn't even finish the review on the thing itself, i had to use my phone because....well, look for yourself below 🫱

😠Awfully angry and annoyed😓

Unfortunately, this PC has crashed nearly every game I've played. When running correctly, it's FPS quality is amazing. The fans are a bit loud, but keep the machine fairly cool. Not sure if I just got a bad singular part, but nothing has resolved my issues. Returning for a refund and looking elsewhere. Posted a couple pics to show what was happening in Diablo.
