This honestly isn't even bad for a laptop. The 256gb nvme ssd is quite fast. You are also best to get a 1 tb 2.5" ssd as well to install yourself. Buy a set of 2 x 8gb 2400 ram sticks as well. 

Touchpad is very responsive. The IPS display is quite immersive. Install drivers through MyASUS and windows, do not do it otherwise or the performance will suffer. Needs to be 16gb of ram for best performance. The RBG is okay, its just for effect. 

Overall, I highly recommend it. It's more than just a gaming laptop. Its a tank

love it! ive played call of duty i played destiny 2 also skyrim. i am recently on ff14 and it is amazing does get a little hot for long time use but what do you expect from a laptop for gaming. no complaints its what i needed and more.

Love this laptop.  Starts up within seconds.  Games run smoothly and graphics are flawless.  have not had any issues with anything i have thrown at it yet.  No lag issues with the wifi and no jerky video.  could not be happier.

Love the new laptop

I got this laptop for my daughter for her birthday and she had been gaming on a very old laptop. She is in love with the graphics on this laptop for the price it has awesome quality graphics! She loves that the keyboard lights up and it's making her Minecraft gaming experience much better. This has a fast processing speed to keep up with the gaming experience. It is also great for her to be able to do homework on or write papers so it is more multipurpose than just a gaming laptop.

Awesome laptop￼

Great gaming laptop for someone who isn't that tech savy. It exceeded my needs and expectations.  I think sometimes it becomes overheated, causing it to shut down in the middle of what i'm working on, but my work has yet to be lost, so really just an annoying side note. 8/10

This is a great laptop for gaming but it needs a little help. First of all the 8 gb of ram isnt enough so i ordered a 16gb stick at 2666hz (same speed as onboard 8gb) and it works great in dual channel memory. The. I replaced the cheap 256 nvme ssd (only ran 1.6gb read) with a 512 nvme (ran 2.8 gb read) and added a spare hdd of 1tb i had laying around for movies, etc. after that and of course an nvidia driver update i was pulling 60 frames per second on battlefield 5 ultra settings. Its really close to a fantastic laptop and for maybe 100 extra it can be a beast

Pretty great mid tier gaming laptop

Honestly, I would have given this a 5 star, but I am picky and old school when it comes to laptops. First off, there is no optical drive, no card slots, no VGA port, only 3 USB ports, and only 1 audio port. The track pad mouse is like a touch pad, and the buttons are not separated, which is pretty sad for a gaming laptop. It does have an HDMI port though so that is a plus.  Now for the good stuff. The monitor is a nice size, it has the number pad built onto the keyboard, the WASD keys are inverted colors from the rest of the keyboard for easy finding in extreme gaming times, also the RGB lighting makes it a lot nicer to see the keys in darker areas. The fan settings have three speeds. Thought I rarely care about the difference, it has 256 GB solid state hard drive, and a second port to add another hard drive to, I did not pay attention to the depth space while I was in there, but I added a 9.5 mm 2TB Barracuda to it to have more space. This unfortunately was not enough after splurging in Epic and Steam, I had it filled up in no time. I have had very little problems with playing most games on it especially after I bought a 5 button wireless mouse. The other nice thing about it is, you are able to upgrade it currently up to 32 GB RAM. If you're like me and picky about having a bad a55 AMD, This takes the cake, for at least now.
