Although getting this home and in place wasn't easy, I am very happy with this purchase. It's heavy, but sturdy, and has been adjustments for how you want to use it. My teenage daughter wanted a futon to replace her bed, she actually has been sleeping better, and now has a hang our place for her and her friends to watch TV. It is very firm, but so far shows no signs of wear from her or our dog.

Sturdy & very adjustable

This is an excellent couch it went above and beyond my expectations. Make sure you have some big guys that can move it because it comes almost fully assembled and is very heavy. All that has to be done is the legs must be screwed down but it is very easy to assemble and is a great and comfortable couch in the lounging position it can actually seat my husband who is about 145 pounds, myself who is 225 pounds and our two year old who is 30 pounds so it had a good weight limit and has a lot of room

Excellent Couch

After looking online for a couple days, and checking every possible resource for purchasing a futon (other than at walmart), I finally gave in and purchased the Barcelona. And what a wonderful decision it was. It looks great, sleek & modern, and it is super comfortable.

It was a breeze to set up 5 legs to screw in, found in zipper compartment underneath. Package was banged up had small rip on bottom of lounger but not visable so didn't care. Not recommended for small room though. It fills a space up. The incline of the ends is awesome for someone with back problems that can't lay down. Actually got some sleep. It's not to hard or to soft in my opinion. I choose the Sage which is more like a slightly dark mint green. More of a neutral color to go with anything.

Great for back pain sufferers

I've had my sofa for a week now and I really love the functionality of this futon sofa, it's firm but comfy. It was already put together only had to twist in the legs, I highly recommend it!! You do need a couple of strong men to carry for you and have a truck if you pick it up from the store, is somewhat heavy. :)

Great purchase!

I was not too optimistic when I ordered this futon online. There were mixed reviews but let me say this is definitely a good deal. It looks great, a bit firm, but for occasional guests works great. I would recommend putting the back near a wall because the base sticks out a little. Very easy to set up, no complaints!
