What is the playing size.     Bumper to bumper

This is a great table and great deal.  It has the same specs as the yellow Barrington 100" table that costs considerably more, and I think it looks so much better.  While not slate, the 1" MDF surface is great for an amateur like me.  It took about 3 hours to build, and one suggestion is to assemble it with just two legs followed by gently rotating it over (the legless edge) and holding it up while adding the other two legs.  You'll know what I mean when you start, but in-short, this means that you can assemble this with two people and not 4, and you don't need to ever lift the entire weight of the table.  The felt is 40% wool, and the K66 bumpers are premium and offer great bounce.  The only note I have is that the cue sticks are really cheap.  No matter, as that can be solved by a simple new order.

Excellent value!

First I have to thank Spark Reviewer for letting me test out and give a review for this Barrington 100 inch Solid Wood Pool Table WITH pool balls, cue sticks, chalk, rack, brush. The accessories alone are a pretty nice package.

Straight away this isn't slate. That adds a lot more weight and about $1000 bucks more for the table. Obviously slate is top of the line stuff but I will get into detail about this being very well made but it isn't slate.

This Barrington 100 inch table looks just like you see it on the Walmart photos. When I have the table in my home it easily matches the look that you see on the Walmart.com website. The look caught my attention right away and I wasn't disappointed by this Solid Wood table. When I mentioned it was solid wood everybody asked me what kind of wood is it? Well, I didn't know then and I still don't know. I can just say its not particle board or any other types of wood. Its Solid wood. The table is heavy. Its not like a slate which can run up to 1000 lbs. but it is around 375lbs after its been assembled. One box alone weighs 300lbs. I thought it was interesting that in the manual they don't want you to return the item to the store without contacting them first. Whew!!!

The package came via Freight and was delivered within a reasonable time. I have to account for the fact that my package came from ocean to Minnesota and through the holiday season. I was quite happy with that. Everywhere in the manual says you need 4 strong adults to handle this at certain points of installation. The lifting of the table requires four. The moving of the table requires 4. The legs will come in a separate package that weighs about 60 pounds. Nice and sturdy and very well done. 

The table is assembled upside down. So its delivered with the Top on the floor. If you can't have this product installed and you need to move and assemble yourself I would highly recommend setting the top of the table down on the floor. From there you can take out the accessories and you have just the table which is seen my photo. After clearing all of the cardboard you are then ready to build the inner box. This fits right under the table to add support. I was surprised that this was quite heavy also. The assembly was about a half dozen boards to form a box under the table and weighs about 100lbs. So you have the table on the carpet. You then assemble the box. Put the box onto the table with screws that require only a Phillip's and flat head screwdriver. Add support beams and then put the legs onto the table. Finally four strong people can then flip the table over and you are ready to play.

The table comes with shims so you can balance the table or make the table level. 

All of the accessories are well made. Quality cue sticks that you can screw together. Nice cue balls that come in a sturdy box. I was happy with the brush and rack also. The rack is made out of wood. 

Finally , Customer Service at Barrington I must mention was very helpful in explaining the ins and outs of how this table works. They are right there with replacement parts or advice and I was happy with that seeing this was a large $ item. 

I would go with slate if your pocketbook can afford it as Barrington as some beautiful slate tables on Walmart.com. If you'd like a lower budget table this is quite nice.

Very Elegant Looking Table

I received this pool table as a sample to review. The item was shipped in two boxes. The first contains the 4 legs and comes in a box about 3' x 3'. The second box contains the table, so it measured about 9' x 5.5'. So be sure you have enough space to put it. The actual pool table is 110 inches x 56 inches. And you should have at least 3 to 4 feet space on all 4 sides. So please plan the room accordingly. I was able to assemble the pool table for the most part by myself in about 4 hours. The instructions were straight forward. I liked the fact they labeled all the small parts including the screws. That made it easier to identify. Once assembly is done, I did need the rest of the family (4 people total) to flip the table. The set came with cue balls and sticks, brush, triangle. So everything was included. We were able to play the same day and had hours of fun. The wood finish was very nice. It feels solid and well constructed. I look forward to many hours of fun with my family. Highly recommended!

Great pool table fun for the entire family!

If you're looking for a top of the line pool table, then you need this table. Barrington has made this pre-assembled massive 100-inch 1” reinforced particle board playfield with a beautiful burgundy felt table. very nice table.....

I bought this pool table from Walmart, the table is shipped in cardboard all the way from California to Missouri where I live, box was in sad condition when it arrived.  pool table is heavy an comes felt down in box. one driver on the truck, it took me my dad an my brother to help the driver get the pool table off the truck. we could see box damage but couldn't see any damage to the table itself. driver had no means of a cart or nuthin to move pool table inside. we took two 2wheelers ( our own ) 
laid them flat put them long ways together an tied the together put pool table on them long ways an struggled through the yard an getting it in my backdoor basement. it took me my dad an brother almost 3 hours to put together,you put them together with it upside down , then have four guys flip it over, to find out that a forklift (what it looks like} had ripprd a whole in the siderail, which Walmart cudnt fix bcuz that was the last one in stock....Good news, walmarts giving me a full refund.  you would think they would build somekind of a wooden box when you ship it
