Is there a lip on the front of the desk (above the wide drawer)? If so, how deep is it. I need to be able to clamp a fly tying vise to it.

A little complicated to put together. However the finished product is sturdy and well worth it! Purchased for my 12 y/o son since they are now doing virtual learning. We knew we needed something sturdy since he tends to be rough with his stuff. This has not disappointed and love the drawers for storage. Great price as well!

Great Product

Although this was not purchased for typical desk purposes, it is a great addition to our dog area in our family room that needed some organization.  The top drawer fits leashes and meds and the bottom drawer has plenty of room for treats and harnesses.  The knee space is just tall enough to fit our 36 size kennel underneath perfectly.  
Measurements for knee space are H: 25 inches, W: 28.5 inches, D: 21. 25 inches.
The open area above the drawer will make a great space for a pull out bin or basket as well.

Great addition for the doggos!!

I had read reviews on this and one said the assembly was a nightmare. I did not think that at all. Yes it took me a few hours to put together but was well worth it. As long as you read and follow the instructions you will not have a problem. I am very pleased with this desk.

I really love my desk.  It took me about 2.5 hours to put together and the directions were very easy to follow.  It fits in with the rustic feel to the house and has been great to have with the recent work from home order.

Great desk

Overall bought this for my teenage son's virtual school due to covid.  Good price and most desks are sold out everywhere.  Shipped pretty decent packaging.   Alot of pages of instruction- do not throw away!  Took about 2.5 hours to out together- Being a woman did need help for top piece.  Alot of screws and lots of parts but labeled good.  Had all the pieces!

Good price for nice desk!

Assembling this product was a nightmare. Some screws does not go in to their respective holes especially the one go in metal sections. It damaged my screwdriver but the screws are still up and as the result my table is wobbly and making metal sound every time I use it. It took me nearly 4 hours to assemble this table. Unless you are a professional don't bring this nightmare home.
