We got this for our 4 yr olds birthday. I know it says 6, but our girl listens and is responsible. This bed is fantastic and she loves it so. Her crib mattress and recliner fit perfectly under the loft. She loves to play her toys on the huge shelf under there or just sit back and read. Yes, she reads by herself. Quality made and sturdy. Only downfall was it took two days to off gas the paint smell.  Also the paint may chip easily, already in a week she put a few dings but craft paint will touch that up easily and for the price you cannot beat it. Definitely recommend.  Takes approx an hour and half to build with hand tools. You need a ratchet they only send you with the tiny tool that would kill your hand.

Amazing

This loft bed exceeded our expectations. It's very solid and well made. It definitely takes 2 to assemble and about an hour and half from start to finish. I tried to wiggle one of the post after it was put together to see how sturdy it was and nothing moved! I was very impressed. We purchased an 8in standard twin mattress (also from Walmart) to go with it and it fits perfectly. The shelves are great and well made; I had my husband put the center support in the back vs. front for esthetics. For the price, this loft bed is really great! I did a ton of research and going cheaper doesn't always work out but we're super happy with the purchase and so is my daughter!

Better than expected; very solid!

Was watching like a hawk because this is a popular bed and kept going out of stock. Originally wated the light brown but settled for while when it was the only color to come back in stock. It shipped quickly but arrived late but that was due to Fedex. Large box and the tape ripped but again i believe it was FedEx handling as they pushed the box up my stone driveway and left it half way there.
It was very easy to set up even in the pretty small room that it was going in. It makes the small room feel like it has a lot more room.my 4 year old love this bed!

Could not be happier with this purchase! Super sturdy and very easy to put together. I did this myself with just a little help from my daughter to hold some things. Instructions were very clear and easy to understand. My son is 9 but he is tall/large for his age and this is perfect!

Great Find!!!!

We bought this bed for our 6yo in white color. After reading all the reviews we decided to ordered it knowing things could happen. My husband was not home to help build it but my 20 year old daughter offered  to build it! It took us like 7 hours to build it between my two daughters and my self with breaks!😂 the result is beautiful bed I thought it was going to be smaller according to the measurements on the website. it is bigger and All the bins we have fit in the shelves nicely. We decided on this bed because we have a 6 and 7 yo girls with an abundance of toys and no space to store them. This bed configuration is perfect!! We did have some hiccups while trying to put it together few of the pieces that had this pieces of hardware already inside came out while trying to screw the screws that go inside. we were able to put them back inside without breaking the wood. And a pice of wood chipped on the opposite side of a screw going in but we're just going to glue it. We had a hard time putting some of the screws for the shelves because there's barely any room to turn the little L pice. We finished late and tired but we had fun.Finally before we placed the mattress  we did put more planks to hild the bed otherwise I felt the ones that came qith the bed were to few and too spaced and the mattress was going to be wobbly and get ruined. my girls loved the space and we hanged some led light under it to make it even more magical for them! I definitely plan to buy another one for my 7yo later when we move to a bigger place.!

great concept but pain to build it!

Definitely download the app to help put it together. It says 1 person 2hrs. Yes, if you're using the allen wrench provided, really need 2 people to help towards the end of the build. Suggest using a allen bit%26 rachet or drill to speed up the process or you will be left with a sore hand. Watch out for the predrilled holes, for other pieces to attach to, I ended up putting one shelf piece the wrong way and had to drill new holes for the shelf brace. It's a really nice bed for the money. It's sturdy. Box is very heavy, the delivery driver dropped it in my driveway and split open the box. Only a few pieces were scuffed but those sides didn't show on the bed. It took me 4hrs and ended up asking for help, like I said at the end to get the last railing on and help lift the bed. Directions have you lay the bed on its side to put together. Happy building!

Twin loft bed

I really love this bed for my 3yr old son. It's not to tall like some others. It has lots of storage underneath. Putting it together wasnt that difficult. It took about 3 hours for 3 of us to do it with a few small breaks. Whwn putting it together just make sure that you have all your holes aligned in the right places and domt tighten it all the way until u have it completely built and then go back in and tighten certain screws. I'm so happy I bought this and I would but again

Very happy with my purchase

Put this together last night. Definitely takes 2 people at the end! Box was super heavy, but the bed is easy to move once together. “Wood” did split in a few areas from the screws. My baby loves it though! She's in my room so I needed something more space-saving.  Under is like her little fort area which also has her toy box. Shes 2. My 5yr old told me it's too short for him to go under. He's 4ft

Great for my toddler!

Got this just over a week ago for our 7 year old girl. Took my husband and myself about maybe 2 hours to put together. But the time included in that was also spent on the phone because one of the wood pieces was incorrectly drilled and didn’t work to put it together. We were able to still put it together in the meantime, still waiting on the replacement piece. Our girl loves it, and it provides so much storage! One of the pieces of wood was slightly scratched. But nothing big. My husband wants to get them for all the kids rooms. I will say though, I think they’re probably better suited for little kids, as the ladder section to get up, is very tiny. My 11 year old can’t really go up the ladder because it’s too narrow.
