Blackstone sells a separate top that converts the griddle into a grill. I believe the reviewer is saying that they feel it should include that attachment as part of this set.

It does say it comes with the hard top. I believe the reviewer was saying that they think it should include the grill top accessory that turns the griddle into a grill as well.

I saw that review and honestly don't know what they were talking about.  It obviously comes with the heavy rolled steel griddle top and it also includes the hard cover (which covers the griddle).  It doesn't come with a soft cover nor does it come with the accessory that turns it into an actual grill (as opposed to a griddle).  Hope that helps.

You won't be disappointed

Love the four burners. The drawers are great plenty of room for tools and spices, etc. 
the jury's still out on the hardtop. I really think it would be better hinged but the slightest breeze would blow it shut. But overall it's a great griddle!

Great griddle, lots of storage room.... plenty of space on the griddle for tons of food! Only drawback....the tables next to the griddle get super hot even with the little cutout, they need a taller wall or something, to protect from the heat, I already melted the Blackstone cutting board....

I just bought this griddle after seeing Todd from Blackstone at a demo at my local Walmart in Visalia, CA.  Great job by Blackstone and Walmart for putting on these demos.

This griddle is amazing!!!  Fit and finish is very nice and for all the add ons you get with this package it is a great value.   Assembly wasn't bad at all, I'm pretty handy and it took me about 30 minutes.  Seasoning went very well, I have the 22 inch model as well so I've got some experience with seasoning a griddle.

Again thanks to Blackstone for sending out their people, I think this says a lot about a company.  Walmart is heavy into the Blackstone game and it is the place to buy their products.

I have had charcoal and gas grills for years and nothing wrong with either but I have never cooked out so much like I have with this griddle. I absolutely love it. It makes the best food. Once you learn how to cook on it and season it correctly you don't want to go back to anything else.

Awesome grill

Purchased 2 days ago and couldn't wait to put this together. assembly was not bad at all and this is a very sturdy, well built griddle. 
This is my 2nd griddle after the steel cooking surface on my Outdoor Gourmet griddle warped. I doubt very seriously I will have any issues with Blackstone.

Great Product

I received this as my birthday present and absolutely love it!  First was Philly Cheese Steaks for my wife and I.   I then made Japanese for the whole family 8 adults at once.  I just made fish, perogis and a burger all at the same time.  Couldn't be more happy with the griddle.  I will probably purchase the grill accessory.

High quality construction griddle, very heavy. The cover isn't as thick as I imagined, but i don't see any issues arising from this.

You'll want to season the cooking surface with oil everytime you store it to prevent rust since it is raw steel. Seems indestructible otherwise.

My only con would be the drawers aren't water tight. They are wide open in the back allowing windy rain to enter so don't keep anything of value in there.

Overall a great purchase, and way cheaper than any grill of similar quality.

Great griddle

This is a well-made grill. Solid fire, heats up quickly and is very easy to use. I took away 1 star because the ignition does not start the flame right-away. It takes 15 seconds to ignite. I’ve been using a separate portable lighter to remedy this. The price is right and shipping was quick. It does not come with a rain cover but it does come with a metal grill cover which works well, cooking tools and two plastic bottles.

We fell in love with this grill!!! I worked OT to buy this grill after being a Weber only griller. After 8 months the griddle top is useless and full of rust with maybe every other weekend of use, using only blackstone accessories. I have reached out to the company, we did register it. I hope they stand by this $483 purchase. I am sooo disappointed after being absolutely thrilled. We took very good care of this. Always cleaned properly, covered after cooling and even covered with the Blackstone cover, another $50.
