No. Just pour directly from the opening on the bottom. Make sure the cap is tightly back on to reduce the chances of a leak.

I bought this for a camper that I'm renovating, so I wouldn't have to run inside every time I need to pee. It's going to be used in the camper on trips as well. So far I'm pleased with it, been using it a couple weeks now and there is no smell. I am also using the porta pak deodorizer.  My only suggestion would be make sure you close the lid before you flush, it has a bit of a back splash when you flush. I used to be an over the road truck driver, and this would have come in very handy then. Hope this helps!

Camper toliet

compared to others I've bought in the past it seems like it will past the test. Like the way it's made on bottom, making it easy to carry and easy disposal of waste.  The part that holds the lid on a bit flimsy but may be because of the type of plastic used  is more flexible than others owned

this is just what I expected, when you need a toilet. I flushes and it has a good water supply and there is no odor

The product is made of a durable material

The bowl has one water jet that activates when the bellows on top is pressed down. Make sure the drain cap is attached tightly before the first use- found out the hard way myself. It's easy to empty and clean and it really does work like a charm. I have no fear that it can hold my weight- over 150lbs. I would suggest for men that they sit to do #1 because the bowl is small and will splash. To flush, pull the middle handle and everything drops down into the holding tank; just push it back in and push the bellows to put water in the bowl. That stops odors from coming into the room. I'm gonna measure the threads and see if I can attach a pvc threaded pipe with a bayonet fitting attached to that, then a rv sewer end to make dumping easier. I'd highly recommend it for a car, van, truck, RV, tent or anywhere an extra toilet is needed. Great to keep for disasters or other emergencies.

Works like a charm

This worked very well on our pontoon boat. Wife, and daughters like it. Beats making a special trip back to shore if you have to use the facilities.

What a wonderful upgrade from our older port a potty!  We've been camping for years and were using an older, smaller port-a-potty.  We decided to upgrade to a larger one (this one sits the same height as a regular toilet).  It's easy to use and very easy to clean.  Love it!

Happy Camper

This came in handy for a recent 3 day camping trip. (2 people ) it is sturdy and flush pump worked surprisingly well. I used the blue Porta Pak brand drop ins and there was absolutely no smell.  Clean up was easy as well because of that. The seals are strong.   I'm glad I purchased this size can't imagine sitting any lower on a smaller one but this has good heighth. After reading all reviews of all kinds, clearly this is the one!

Only two things I wished it had.  A longer spout that turns out for dumping waste and a locking device on the shut off valve.  Scared it can open while transporting to dump station.  Everything else works as needed

better than a tree

The seat opening is round, not oval, and the opening is too small for men. The bowl is too shallow. Again, too shallow for men (let your imagination do the rest). 

The holding tank discharge port is situated halfway down the tank, and it leaked making a terrible smelly mess!

Don't buy this.
