Not sure what you mean by "standard version". It is a large cooler on 2 wheels, blue in color with bilateral handles for lifting as well as a larger, longer handle for pulling.

Yes it has a drain.  One that you do not have to tilt for better drainage.

On the outside, it has a 1/2&quot; white plastic outlet with cover that is on the opposite end from the wheels.  Inside there is 10&quot; long little &quot;gulley&quot;  that gradually drops down to about 1&quot; so liquids flow down towards the outlet.  However, the plastic outlet opening is about 1/2&quot; above the deepest part of the gulley, so a little tipping would be needed to totally drain the cooler.

 It only has 2 wheels. They should have used a comma in the name and placed the dash before the 5 (Coleman 100 qt Xtreme-5, wheeled cooler).

The exterior dimensions are 36.3" x 16.6" x 18.5". The interior dimensions are 23.5" x 11.75" x 13.75". The interior dimensions are a bit tricky due to the wheel well. The bottom of the cooler is 23.5" long, but the cooler length is longer when you measure above the wheel well.

I am very pleased with this Coleman cooler. It is excellent in any aspect! The size is great, it comes with wheels for easy carry and is magnificent in keeping food cold for long periods of time. Well made and very sturdy!!  A great buy.

Excellent cooler

I ordered online, and cooler arrived within allotted time. The cooler was in excellent condition and had no manufacturing defects when delivered. Wheels, lid, handles, everything is great. I now have 3 coleman Xtreme coolers which I use, and they have all been fantastic. My oldest of the coolers is 6 years old and is just like new despite years of use and abuse. I use the coolers hard for vacation food to the beach and mountains. Many many times each year I pack the coolers to the brim with ice and game meats such as deer or turkey during hunting seasons. The Xtreme coolers do keep ice for 5 days even during very hot summer months. Very durable and built well, that's why I keep on buying the Xtreme coolers.

Time tested, proven performance and durability

I used this cooler for 4 days at a campsite I used 4 one gallon jugs of ice a wire rack and 2 plastic bins and filled it full of food!! everything stayed cold in 90 plus weather! it has been a week and the ice is still frozen! in the cooler(I am doing an experiment to see how long it will take for the ice to melt) it is a great cooler I would recommend to anyone who has a lot of food they need to store.

Coleman wheeled cooler

I bought this item a few weeks ago, and tested it this past week. It was technically just in my garage so not the hottest weather or in a situation with the sun beating down on the cooler, but it was 60-80 degrees out. With the proper amount of ice in the cooler as recommended by Coleman and a bunch of prechillee drinks, this cooler managed to keep things cols for at least 8 days. The first 3 there was a lot of ice, then not so much but still plenty of ice and lots of ice cold water. By the 8th day it was basically all very cold water, so I emptied it out, but to my surprise even on that day the cooler had some ice chunks left, albeit not many. I'm confident this cooler can handle a 5 day outing keeping stuff at least cold. However in 90+ degree weather it may not go so long. Personally I need a 3 day cooler and this one does that just fine no concerns.

Also some people reviewed the handles and hinges as an issue. I haven't had an issue yet but have not used it much. The small handles to feel a bit flimsy so may break with lots of weight. However the big handle for dragging the cooler on its wheels feels very sturdy despite being plastic, and I had a solid 90-100lb of weight inside the cooler when I was moving it.

Keeps ice for a long time

This is amazing. Hold ice frizen for up to 4 days for us as long as fully packed and closed tightly at campsites up to 90F temps.
It can hold up to 160 cans with ease and its large and sturdy enough to hold 250lbs of weight so use as a chair!  With two large wheels, two-way handles and a comfortable tow handle for one-hand operation, this cooler is easy to roll even on rough terrain. After the party, it's easy to drain thanks to a rustproof, leak-resistant channel drain for no-tilt draining.

The cooler is good quality. Solid, easy to wheel around, and decent size for the cost. The only problem that I've had with it is that the lid doesn't stay locked down. It continuously pops up, leaving a small gap between the lid and the bottom half. It leads to air exposure and things to warm/ice to melt. Could really use a latch or some better material that I conducive to staying closed/locked in place.

Overall, this is a great cooler. However, it does not hold ice for as long as claimed and I'd recommend buying the upgraded metal hinges to add to yours. This is my third Coleman Extreme cooler and the first two suffered the same fate of broken hinges. Once I discovered that they make and sell metal replacement hinges, I now install them on my coolers and recommend them to anyone I know. I get about 2 days out of the ice in 85-90 degree temps, on a screened porch in the shade. Sometimes it will last close to three days. This is fine, I just wish they didn't claim five days.

This was a nice size for us, and the price was very nice, but the lid would not stay closed.  Nice spring to keep the lid open when you have it up, but when closed, the lid would not seal without placing a weight on top of the unit.

If this had been a $80 or $90+ cooler, I would not be willing to recommend it.  For less than $50, its pretty decent.

Nice size, nice price, but...

At first I absolutely could not open the cooler no matter how hard I tried.  My husband had to use some effort to open it. Then he LOOSENED THE HINGES and I could open it although it was still not easy!
