Why is there a vast disparity in the weight. What&#39;s the boxed weight or the total shipping weight plz ? Need to ship via sea to my country and need the accurate shipping weight plz

In other responses to this question, Bestway stated to add 1-1/2 feet to EACH side, meaning the minimum area required would be 12&#39; X 21&#39;. While these dimensions would cover the total dimensions of the poll plus the support stand-offs, keep in mind that there will be occasion where you will probably need to access at least three sides of the pool,, e.g. attaching the cover, trimming yard growth, retrieving pool toys, etc. and you won&#39;t want to have to be climbing over stand-offs to do so. Take it from one who knows; you&#39;ll be glad you allowed yourself a &#39;clear path of at least 2 feet on at least two sides in addition to what it takes for the pool and frame!

what are the dimensions of the pool once its assembled, including the frame? I need to know the entire footprint of the pool to know if it will fit

I was told by Best Way (manufacturer) that an additional 1 and a half feet is required for the reinforcement bars.

I've been researching pools for a year or two and finally made the purchase & finished the install. Note: I purchased knowing full well the draw backs & trade offs with this model (Ground cloth but is nothing more than a very thin tarp - the pool cover isn't very durable and the pump is good for backup purposes only and the maintenance kit isn't great either). SO, why did i purchase? For the durability of the frame & the liner & The price! The functionality of this model is tried and trued (I have a family member that has a similar version that has lasted 7 seasons & still looks great. ) I also love the rectangular shape & being able to tuck away in a backyard corner. While the price is reasonable you might want to go ahead and price a good sand filter to save the headache (as several others have already mentioned). I went with the Intex 2100 Krystal 12" Sand Filter Pump and it has worked great, I think its the perfect size for this model! The ladder is a little shaky but is ok other wise. 

The one problem that i had with my order was the intake hose (while the online store shows a single intake line with a shut off plunge valve, The kit shipped to me had a dual intake 1" 1/4" hose and didn't have a Split Plunger Valve for the intake. The Outlet was as pictured though, with a working shut off valve on a 1" 1/2 hose.

For the install: The ground leveling was a bit of a challenge, used a tiller to break up sod and raked the soil to level and tamped down (based off my transit reading)... took a little longer than expected. Glad i took the extra effort to get it right (For those that don't get close to level ground, i think that the floating/ sliding corner pieces may not operate properly. 
The assembly of the pool was a breeze, but you'll need 2 people to hold the frame upright for the first couple of leg supports. Once the legs and liner are upright you'll need to use (concrete blocks or 15" pieces of 2x12" lumber to support each leg / to prevent sinking into the soil.  While filling with water the long sides will bow in BUT will eventually straighten up on the last 15-20% of filling. When everything is finished and you get to enjoy the pool you will notice a fair amount of flex with the side walls which is normal and some water will splash out of the corners. Also you might want to invest in a 1 1/2" pool hose vacuum kit for cleaning.
