This can be used for both grilling and smoking.

No it can't. This thing is a pile of junk! Do not purchase it. Within 2 months of owning it, it freaking rusted. Steam got in the temp gauge and now it doesn't work at all. It's tiny. It's worthless. It took 3 hours to assemble. Spend a little bit extra, it'll be worth it.

Can this item be used as both a grill and smoker?  I can&#39;t tell by the description and none of the reviews have stated that it is dual use.

It will take a bit of elbow grease to get it together, has one of the tubes bent out of the box and had to fix it before I could even start.
Grill area is smaller than expected and the picture shows a chicken being grilled in the smoke box.

Hard to assemble but will work

We waited over 3 weeks from time of purchase to delivery. They lost the package for over a week. During the time our package was lost, customer service was not helpful nor did they respond in full sentences. It seemed like a child wrote the emails. They offered $10 as compensation for it being lost.  Finally, we received it today and was excited to put it together, only to have issues from the start. It is poorly made. The both lids are not cut square, so you can see inside of the smoker and the side cabinet. Almost had to bend the legs to get it together. Extremely, cheaply made. I will be surprised if it last one cooking. I am highly disappointed and will not be buying from them again.

After putting the grill on I see whole bunch of dents inside, I dont have time to take it apart and returning it .

Got for my husband for his birthday, wanted to put it together for a surprise and after 2 hours of working on it, the barrel is bent amd it can't be put together

Terrible

I can say it was easy to put together. Never tighten anything until it's all together. Made of flimsy material for this type of smoker. Doors must be recurved to fit properly. The absence of trays for ashes will make this unusable for me. It is tiny tiny. I have used a thirty inch Char-griller for years this is not even close to a cheap version of a Char-griller. It is like a child's toy. I didn't have the problems others had with assembly and if it was 20 or 30 bucks I would give it three stars. But at 150 bucks it is seriously laughable. The girls bought it and I'm gonna use it but I bet the grates and plastic handle spacers will be destroyed after first use.

The smoker part of the grill was all dented and had a hard time getting it lined up like it should be

One of the legs doesn't have required holes for assembly.  I need the part shipload please.
