one place says propane another says NG. what is it?

You may need to purchase the XP3030RV which is an adapter meant to be used when utilizing with an RV if you do not have the correct adapter. Otherwise, yes the XP13000EH's 50 AMP receptacle is ready for use with an RV.

I bought this generator after making it through a 69 hour power outage on the 5500EH.  When this one arrived, 5 days after placing the order, I had it out of the box and running within 30 minutes.  It's easy to start, provides a lot of power (probably not as much as the whole house needs, but definitely a enough to make it easier to manage devices during an extended outage), and overall has a lot of nice features including circuit breakers for each outlet.  I'm changing out the wiring, inlet box, and circuit breaker to support 50A this week to get the full amount of power this machine has to provide to my home.

Great generator my wife can use it

I bought this recently to replace a predator8750 generator. This will be able to handle refrigerator and AC unit and being dual fuel, it gives me better fuel options too. I have owned generators from numerous other manufacturers and duromax has the best features for your money. I assume it will be just as reliable as the others. A bonus is that it comes with wheels and handles which make it very easy to maneuver. The only thing I wish came standard in the box would be a dust and rain cover. Thanks, Bill

Great features and value

I ran a 20 minutes test on propane and this bad boy ran my whole house. (I witched all my lights to LED before test) only down side was the handle closest to the muffler needs to stay up due to all the heat coming off the muffler. I need to find a way to hold it up while it is running. I wish DuroMax would sell a kit to convert it to natural gas. That would be awesome!! But I give it 4 out of 5 stars.
