We purchased this Dyson to replace one that my kids accidentally broke (they sucked up water with the old one by accident)  And I have to say compared to the V7 which I have previously this one is less noisy, it comes with extra attachment pieces, And does it strive as you expected Dyson to do. I priced around and was looking at getting something different but I don't think the other cordless backs on the market are anywhere in the same ballpark as the Dyson. Great product I highly recommend.

Love this new Dyson!  Great suction and the battery life was at least 40 minutes. Got the entire 2100 sq feet of house vacuumed. Easy to manuever and the release of the dirt was so easy. Great price for a Dyson and the accessories that came with this were fantastic.

You need to keep your finger on the driver to keep vacuum going. It works really good. Was surprised how much dirt it pulled out of the carpet.

this is a very good vacumm cleaner, light weight strong suction and easy empty with no bags to replace. this is our second dyson v8 absolute . good engineering and made in USA

This is the second Dyson Cordless vac, the first simply wore out after 10 years of use.  I did not even consider another brand.

My first Dyson lasted over 10 years, and decided to get a new one.  This vacuum is awesome.  I even watch when the wife uses, and she holds it in one hand, while picking something up with the other.

Great purchase.  Need one for our second home too!

I have really loved the simplicity of this quick vacuum. I use it on my carpet, tile and wood floors. 
It's been really nice to use in my RV after we have been out of town to clean the floors. 
The battery doesn't last too long if you are using the highest setting for suction but great for a quick clean up. 
I also like how it's lightweight.

I love the lightness, the suction, and the amount of accessories! My only complaint is there were no instructions on the attachments. Not ever having owned a Dyson before, I wasn't sure which is for what. Other than that, very happy with it! NO MORE CORDS!!!

Great little vacuum!

It does not work long before the battery starts having issues. Will not recharge! To replace battery is almost as much as buying a whole new machine. Hard to open and empty the dust container. Difficult to re-attach and reseal the dust container!

Very poor value for the cost! Buyer Beware!
