I gave to my nephew , who has a 1 year old son, to test drive this seat. He told me the fallow in : " I love it " ! He recommend this seat to anybody who wants to have the baby or toddler safe, very comfortable with a plenty of Cushion with does make the baby or toddler happy to travel short or long distance trips and we all know when the kids is happy , mom and dad are happier . Now a days we all heard babies got injury because they are not bucket . Other times we hear that the toddler unlock the seat belt and parents didn't noticed . The safet Evenflo Advanced SensorSafe Epic Travel System, is a PLUS, it alarm when the seat belt is unlocked, or the kid is without using it, or when you left the baby inside the car without buckled, immediately the alarm sensor Alert you ! The seat car have 3 layers of confort . Layers adjust to reduce pressure for a safer and comfortable ride .
The stroller is big , beautiful , comfortable , classy , and easy to assemble . The material are easy to clean in both , seat car and Stroller. The best of the best

I just received this awesome Evenflo stroller/carrier safety system and I am so pleased! This is a very busy household. Three new grandchildren in the past year, we are very busy grandparents.
This travel system is so safe, so comfortable, and so easy to use. This system lets you get in and out of the car/ stroller with just a lift of a lever on the back of the carrier. So If my precious grandchild is sleeping, I won't wake her struggling to get the carrier in or out of the car. That is such a blessing. Love that the Evenflo is thinking of the parents comfort and ease. No more headaches struggling to get the carrier locked into the base or stroller.
This system is a complete set with the base, carrier and stroller. Once you make the initial adjustments strapping down the base in your car, and positioning the harness on the carrier to fit your baby properly....your done!The handle on the carrier adjusts to 5 different positions. This is wonderful because you can adjust it to fit your space in the car safely.
Another awesome feature is a level on the base. When you position the base in the car, if it's not level, it turns red, and you make the adjustment. When level, it turns green. Isn't that wonderful. The carrier itself is so lightweight. The best I have seen in a carrier. This is a added plus for us grandparents. Once the baby is in, it's not such a struggle carrying them.
There is a 5 point harness system, so you can make the right adjustments for your baby in the carrier. The padding around the head support is so cushy and comfy for your little baby.
Aside from the car seat it's self, there is a sensor that tells if the baby isn't buckled in properly i in the car. Not that I would ever forget baby, but it's a good feature to have.
This stroller was one of the easiest yet that I have put together. Manual with instructions make it so easy to get it ready for baby. No tools needed!
The first thing I noticed with the stroller is it has the best cushion support I have ever seen in a stroller. There is padded cushion even for the legs and feet! Baby will be so comfortable while traveling. If you hit a bump or something when strolling, child's legs are protected.
The stroller easily folds up to put in the trunk of your car.
The canopy for the stroller is large. I love that there is like this visor on the canopy. Added protection from all the elements. We live in the desert, so this is great when I take my grandchild for a walk. No sun in her eyes, and she can enjoy the walk.
The storage compartment....wow! It's the biggest, best, I have ever seen. Massive storage...big enough to carry everything you will need.
I have to say, this travel system receives a A+. I am so very pleased with it. It is so easy for me to use. I know that with the added safety features,my grandchildren will be safe.

Awesome Travel System from Evenflo!!!

I chose the Evenflo Advanced SensorSafe Epic Travel System because I am expecting my second baby girl in May. I could not wait to see what all the hype was about with the senorsafe and advanced technology. So that I could write a review on the technology, I used my niece, who is two months old. The car seat has a smart chest clip with a wireless receiver that automatically syncs to communicate with the parent easy. I decided to leave the car seat unlatched to see if the alert would go off, and it definitely did. I was actually amazed and impressed. I also love the stroller. It was easy to put together. I comes with a large storage basket at the bottom, cup holder and a tray. I also love the three wheels, because it is easier to navigate. The sun visor on the stroller will cover the baby completely in case you get stuck in the rain or if it’s a windy day. It has cushions and it reclines. I highly recommend the Evenflo Advance SensorSafe Epic Travel System for those expecting a newborn. I have no complaints and I cannot wait for my little one to get here.

Adorable & Amazing

This travel system includes, the car seat, base and stoller. The new and exciting feature is the car seat is equipped with new technology called "Sensor Safe". Sensor safe is an audible gentle chime which sounds if the belt is unbuckled while in transit or if the baby is still in the seat when you've arrived.
The seat itself is an existing product with a proven track record. They've added the the technology by adding a chest clip which acts as a transmitter and a receiver plug which plugs into the car's OBDI port. It only works however with a vehicle manufactured from 2008 so that is something you would need to consider.
The car seat can be installed onto the stroller making it the travel system. It is super easy to do as it simply clicks into place. The stroller is a jogger type stoller with a single front wheel suspension. It has a very wide base, rolls smoothly and turns on a dime. For extra manueverability the wheel can be locked in place. The stroller can also be used alone without the car seat and holds up to 50 pounds. The car seat holds up to 35 pounds so the stroller can be used past the usage of the car seat.
The stoller and is a classy grey and black with is gender neutral and fold easily with one tug of the belt. It has a parent's tray and a child's tray with deep wells for holding drinks/snacks or toys. It has a large storage basket. The basket is the largest I have ever seen in a stoller so that is a super bonus for carrying necessary items.
The car seat has a 5 point harnass which can easily be changed to a 3 point harnass as the baby grows. The shoulder straps are adjustable but need to be rethreaded through the back which can be somewhat burdensome. It is well padded with a head support for baby's comfort and can be used with the base or without which is a nice option.

NEW Built in warning if baby is left in car

Was given the Evenflo Advance SensorSafe Epic Travel System to review. The unit arrived in a large box. Once you open the box the stroller and infant bucket came out easily. There was only a few pieces to attach to the stroller frame to complete the stroller. Basically the wheels, tray and hood.

The stroller rolls easily, and folds up with a simple pull of a hidden handle. The infant bucket attaches to the drink tray and has a clasp that hooks the bucket to the back of the stroller. It takes a few times to get use to clasp, but when attached the bucket is secure.

I did not have my niece when we took the pictures. She fit in the seat nicely. The base for the infant bucket secured to seat and could be tighten down easily. The infant seat snapped firmly into the base.

I was not able to use the SenorSafe as I have an older vehicle and did not have the OBDII plug. Instructions state that most vehicles after 2008 do have the plug.

In the pictures is my 2 years grandson is sitting in the stroller. The second picture is my son who is 6 foot 4, he tells me that the stroller is a pleasure to use. The handle is a good height for him. His wife who is about 5 foot 5 also said the handle was perfect for her.

I like the stroller system. It is easy to push, a very large area underneath seat for carrying diaper bag and other items. Easy to fold and handling when placing in your vehicle. Overall this is a very nice baby transport system.

Evenflo Travel System

I chose the Evenflo Advanced SensorSafe Epic Travel System solely for the SensorSafe technology. My daughter is having another baby I thought that this would be a great system to have for the new baby. I've received and built travel systems previously so I was prepared for the job ahead of me but I was pleasantly surprised that most of the system arrived already put together. The stroller portion was entirely built aside from the axles and wheels and the infant carrier only needed to have the canopy put on it. I thought that I was in for a very easy set up, however, I did run into a few small snags that delayed the process. The instruction manual showed the parts for the axel/wheel installation and the parts I received didn't appear to match what the manual said I should have. One of the pieces that the manual showed as a separate piece was actually attached to the wheel already and we didn't realize this until after we had spent some time looking for it. We also were missing a washer. Fortunately, my husband happened to have one on hand the same size that worked but this set us back about 15 minutes resulting in a set up time of about 30 minutes when it probably should have taken about 15. The stroller portion of the system is pretty nice. The back reclines to 3 position. Pretty much full upright, a mid level recline and an almost full recline. The wheels are plastic but swivel nicely. There are breaking systems in the back as well as on the front wheel in the event that you didn't want the wheel to swivel. The handle had a foam covering on it which made for a soft and comfortable feel. The basket underneath is huge. Plenty of room to fit just about anything. There is a plastic clip on the side of thethat locks and unlocks the stroller. To open it all you have to do is unclip the lock, unfold the top part of the stroller and it just clicks in place. To fold it back up you just pull on the strap that is on the seat and it closes back up. When closed the stroller will stand up on its own and that is a nice feature. The only installation to the infant carrier as I mentioned was to put on the canopy. This was an easy task. To attach the infant carrier to the stroller all you has to do was drop in rear facing (towards the handle) until you hear it click into place. There as a safety strap attached to the stroller that you can clip to the carrier that adds an extra level of security. To remove the carrier from the stroller, release the safety clip and then push on the lever on the back of the carrier. The lever on the back of the carrier releases the same way from the base as it does from the stroller. The system that I received was all black and grey but I believe the system does come in other colors. Weight wise it was about average. My daughter especially liked that when the carrier is attached to the stroller you can pull open the canopy of the stroller as well as the canopy of the infant carrier and the two canopies meet making a full shield from the sun. There is a mesh window in the canopy of the stroller with a flap that can be left open or closed so you can view into the stroller when the canopy is open. I was curious to test the Sensorsafe technology but since my older grandchildren were too big for the system and my newest grandchild has not been born I had to improvise so I buckled my 10lb kettlebell into the car to test it out, lol. Not exactly the cutest baby but it served its purpose. The Sensorsafe technology consists of a chip that is built into the buckle of the infant car seat and a separate unit that is designed to clip into to your car. Only cars manufactured in 2008 and after have a place in the car where this unit can clip into so if your car is older than 2008 you can still use the travel system but you won't be able to use the SensorSafe technology. I couldn't immediately find where this chip was supposed to clip into in my car so I had to pull out the cars manual to find that it was actually located up and underneath the dashboard so have a flashlight ready, however, once found it clipped in easily. To test, we buckled the base and car seat with our "kettlebell baby" in and started the car. Just after starting the car we heard a loud beep that the manual stated confirmed was the chip in the car seat reading the chip that we clipped into the car. This only beeps once the first time it is installed to let you know that it is working. Per the manual you will hear a series of beeps and chimes within seconds of shutting off the car to remind you that the infant carrier is installed and buckled in. You have to be going at least miles 5 per hour for at least 30 seconds for it to work so simply backing in and out of the driveway won't work. After driving the car down and around the culdesac I pulled back into the driveway and shut off the car. Immediately as I opened the door a series of loud chimes and beeps did play. Before choosing this system I was concerned that the warning sounds wouldn't be loud enough to be be heard. What if someone happened to be talking on the phone when they were getting out of the car? I have to admit, they were pretty loud and unless someone were really yelling they would be hard pressed not to hear it. The series of beeps/chimes played over 2 times. Long enough so that you should be able to hear them. The SensorSafe technology is also designed to beep and chime if the seat happens to come unclipped while riding. All in all I am very impressed with the technology. The stroller and infant carrier is a good quality, not quite the quality of some of the other more expensive travel systems out there on the market, but as I mentioned, I chose this system for the Sensorsafe technology and for that reason alone I gave it 5 stars. Since it's still new I can't speak to how it will hold up over time but I would recommend this product to others.

Very Impressive technology

The Evenflo Embrace 35/Advanced Epic Travel System is absolutely amazing as it uses wireless technology to alert the driver that the baby is still in the car seat! This is a well-built, top of the line system!

The Wireless Technology sounds a series of beeps to alert you that your baby is still in the vehicle, using a Chest Clip Transmitter and a Receiver Plug. This system is Awesome! When its turned on it alerts the driver that the chest clip is unbuckled and when its turned off it alerts you that the baby is still in the seat with a series of different tones. Wonderful.

The stroller part holds a child up to 50 pounds and is easily to push. Easy fold when not in use or to carry up or down stairs. This set is amazing! I wasn't sure about what travel system to get but when my baby boy came early I was forced to purchase a car seat with research based on size requirements and what was available immediately. So glad this infant car seat was the only one available at time of purchase! It's light weight and easy to use. It snuggled my little one well. I decided to purchase the travel system because the stroller obviously goes with the infant seat and I wanted to have a second seat so we wouldn't have to switch the seat from car to car. The stroller is amazing because of how simply it is. It took me maybe 15 to 20 mins to put the stroller together after reading the instructions. Opening the stroller for use and closing to put up is very simple. I haven't had to deal with a stroller in almost seven years but I don't remember either stroller I had in the past being so easy to use. The stroller also rides very smooth. I would tell anyone to get this travel system. I love this system!
