This bag is already filled and ready to go.

You only want to hang the bag from something that is made of metal and is 4 inches in circumference or a wood beam 6 inches in circumference and is very secure. WHen you get the bag it causes a lot of force on whatever is holding the bag.

It includes two 5/16 screws that you can hang through a wood beam. I installed mine in my basement on a wood beam. It is there very tight, wouldn't even budge. One thing I recommend is to add plastic/metal spacer to fill in the gap where the hanger is installed through the bolt.

Well mine is in my basement now and if you give it heavy use might loosen the screws but sometimes when i really get in to my work out it makes my floor shake in the house from hitting the bag hard.

Depends on how strong your wooden beam is as well. The beam might not snap but it is possible that the screws might come loose after a while.

i believe its a perfect to hang it up on. as long as its a thick wood not a small piece. hang it up and try it out to see how it goes.

It's probably too heavy to hang on beams in your basement. We installed ours outside. Bought a few posts from the hardware store and concreted them into the ground. Seems to work pretty well this way.

Use a I-Beam on metal or otherwise I&#39;d get the support unit that sits on the floor

is this bag to heavy to hang on wood beams in my basement? i get the feeling the beams could snap after heavy use.

It stands a little over 7 feet. The chain that hangs the bag can be adjusted for height. My son is 14 and does fine with it I'm six foot and have no issues with the height.

You can adjust it to two levels, depending on where you put the chain on the top of the stand.

we did not buy a stand but did get it for our 16 yr old and he loves it. we hung it from the ceiling in a stud, it came with all hardwear and chain to hang

I think it would be good for a 16 year old. My 6'4" husband uses it, and it's fine.

The bag itself is 3 feet tall. The loops to hang it from are 1foot long. You can adjust the links in the chain to hang it on your stand to adjust to your 16 year olds height.

I bought it for my 15 year old son who is 6 foot tall...the height is adjustable...he loves it and uses it everyday

I got it for my kids because they've been asking for one.  they haven't stopped using it since they put it together.  Simple enough instructions for a 15 and 12 year old to assemble. 
I did also buy the stand, it's not hung on the ceiling.

Awesome Product

The 70 pound punching bag is an excellent purchase for those starting out in the boxing or MMA field of fighting. You can't beat the price for what you're getting and all the accessories. Would definitely recommend though purchasing separately the anchoring for the bag so it doesn't swing so much! Also get an extra hand wrap because it only comes with one for your wrist and knuckles.

Punching Bag

Great value, came with xtras that would cost you if bought them seperate. Good to use as beginner or a veteran. Strongly recomend this as your 1st bag or your next. I use 3 times a week an it softens as you use it over time.

Luv to punchit

The bag is of god quality although it seems a bit small in circumference.  The mount for the bag is likely to come apart as its main point of failure is a bolt and a nut which will loosen over time and the bag will fall. I didn't use it. The gloves are uncomfortable and close with Velcro, so you can put them on without assistance but it is hard to make them fit tight.  The biggest issue I had was that the box was shipped to another address. There were two labels, one with my name and address and one with my name and another address about a half a mile away. Luckily, the person at the other address managed to call me, otherwise I might not have gotten the package.

This is an inexpensive package, so I am recommending it as a decent buy in a modest price range. I use the bag as a warm up or down for my weight training workouts. I'm not sure if I would buy this if I was a serious boxer, as the bag is light and you can bounce it around a little too easily.  It is a complete package though.

The Bag is Good - the Rest is Fair

Bought this bag for my little brother, it isn't opened yet but I could say that the delivery was faster than said (2 days ahead) and was left near my door (which could be a hassle given it's 70 lbs. I'm sure he'll love it as he has the same one at his gym. So far I'm pleased so thank you. The bag also came with all the accessories that were said and the weight feeling is appropriate. Only bad thing is that they didn't let me know it was delivered.

So, product is great however, the box came a bit beat up and the zipper on the top of the bag is broken.

The item came with two left gloves. I suppose I should have specified that I have one of each hand, thumbs on the opposites sides.
