Im not a beginner but far from an avid pro. That being said, I'm really impressed with my first workout with these weights. I needed something to keep in my room to make sure I stick to a routine even when I dont feel like it. And this does exactly that. Weights were easy to put on the handles. Stayed on tight. And the kettlebell handles are a really nice touch. Especially for push ups, they felt very comfortable. The package wasnt really damaged like some said and the carry case was perfection in tact with steel hinges so I'm guessing they wont break. So if everything last for years and nothing breaks...I will give this product 5 stars all day long.

Super weight set for small space

Everything arrived perfectly. Very excited to have more adjustable weights for my at home workouts. I wouldn’t call it “travel” since the case is VERY heavy. Takes up very little room.

Exactly what I needed!

THE PRODUCT IS SO HEAVY!  PEOPLE THROW THEIR FITNESS EQUIPMENT AWAY WHEN MOVING.  New to Walmart online.  A relative sent me a gift card via email and one click it applied to my acct.  I looked up the product easily (take your time), only took two or three products.  One click, method of delivery, and it was here the next day.  The item is very professionally packaged making travel easy.  When finished, disassemble and store it.  You can take on trips, to the park, to the beach, etc.  Most if not all of my workouts are dumbbells.  I HAVE NOT USED THE PRODUCT.  All the parts are plastic, no metal.  Nothing looks defective or cheap, very high quality workmanship.  You cannot lift it up, 60  pounds or the case; IMPOSSIBLE.  There is nothing unique to dumbbells other than the end nuts coming loose and the weights falling off.  Therefore the product has delivered and for the price 5-10 years of use expected.

Came in just fine and on time. Case wasn’t messed up at all and everything clicked into place as it should. Can’t wait to start my small home gym. This was the perfect starter set to grow from!

Great starter set!

I got this on sale for $98 with shipping included. I love the convenience of the case. However, it's much bigger and heavier than you would think. It probably weighs about 80 pounds. The quality of the materials is good for the price. I would probably give this a four star review if the Barbell nut lock system was a little bit better. It's a little cheap and tends to get loose very quickly when you're doing exercises with these barbells I recommend it for light exercise when you're at home.

Great for in-home quick exercise

I am still reviewing this product but wanted to get out a warning asap to help others. If you planned on using this kit for the barbell portion (using the connector with the two dumbbell pieces) and think you'll need more than maybe 10 lbs on each side, I DO NOT RECOMMEND this product. 

Today while doing barbell curls with the included 60lbs, it fell apart in my hands and nearly caused serious injury. The piece where the dumbbell screws into is really just a hollow pipe with a plastic fitting that's held in by nothing more than friction. A seriously terrible design. I would not trust having the barbell portion over my head for anything at this point. My wife was doing. Her curls with 12 lbs on each side and noticed that hers was sliding apart too.

In short the kit feels good in the hand and the cases are okay; one of ours came cracked and the other had a faulty latch but they do the job. I cannot recommend this kit for anyone doing serious work but someone just starting out or only needing light weights this is a fine kit.

WARNING: DUMBBELL PORTION IS NOT SAFE

The first 2 pictures show the damage to the carrying case from my original order. So I requested a replacement and the case was still damaged. I didn't want to risk it breaking completely, especially while carrying it, so I decided to get a refund. I gave it 2 stars because the process to get a replacement was easy.

Carrying Case Damaged... Twice!

dumbbell bar is aboslute garbage. the threaded inserts pull out with almost no force. for something meant to hold upward of 60lbs i would expect much better. using this product as is would be asking for a broken toe or a damaged floor. i will be purchasing a 2 part epoxy and flaring the bar to hold the inserts in place. the only reason i give 2 stars over 1 is the rest of the kit seems as advertised.

It broke on my chess on the second use! I DO NOT RECOMMEND. Not only it's a cheap and lightweight kit, which is okay for the price, but it is DANGEROUS.
