Can you use a chest heart rate strap to transmit heart rate to machines lcd monitor?

incline is motorized and controlled by  /_ buttons on console.  0 - 20 degrees.  But if you are very tall the higher the incline the closer your knees to the handgrips used for pulse.  Higher inclines are not comfortable for taller individuals.  Seems like a poor design.

Is the incline controlled by a push button on the console? Can it be raised and lowered during  use?

This item arrived with damaged parts.  645 has scratches on parts that were covered in protective plastic; must have been done at the factory.  Box looks like it went through a war.  Ifit does not work on this unit.  Ifit does not work because according to Ifit this is a known issue with the freemotion 645 and we are working to fix it with no eta.  It is very heavy but I would recommend against purchasing this model.  Buy a newer model.  It looks like the proform 9.9 but does not have the functionality.  Hr is only available via handgrips and will not work with a chest strap because this model does not have bluetooth or connect to ANT chest straps.    Console is archaic lcd display and push buttons with no feel.   Icon makes freemotion, proform, nordi trac, golds gym ellipticals.  They clearly do not quality inspect items well.  Don't purchase this!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
