    Both my 3.5 year old and 1.5 year old love this cupcake set. They both like to take apart and rebuild the cupcakes and pretend to eat, share, and invent flavors for them. However, my daughter was a little frustrated (and I think Green Toys missed on a valuable educational tool) that 2 of the cupcakes aren't a complete "match". My nieces have this set and I believe all 5 of their cupcakes could be "matched" with all the same colors of cups, cakes and frosting. Disappointed but otherwise a cute toy.

There’s enough space underneath the cake layer to stash tiny objects, like mini plastic animals or trinkets; cute for hide & seek. We use this set in conjunction with the Green Toys Tea Set for expanded play. The cupcake frosting top fits on the tea cup; my kiddos pretend it’s hot cocoa. We’ve been using our cupcake set consistently for 6+ months— it’s holding up beautifully and still a real favorite with the kiddos. This is probably our favorite Green Toys item so far!

    Purchased these on a whim. I noticed later that the age range says 2-6, but my 11 month old got excited when she saw them. She likes to take them apart and try to put them back together. She showed more interest in these than her stacking toys, and she can use them as play food once she's older. They are large enough to not be a choking hazard. The only negatives are the small holes in them, some other unknown spots, and they were a little dirty with a stinky smell. They don't look used though. They are dishwasher safe, so I'm hoping that gets rid of the smell.
