This black Aeron Chair by Herman Miller is made with Pellicle® material that conforms to the user's body and retains its original shape when empty.

The material is lightweight and breathable which distributes the user's weight evenly over the seat and the back of the chair. This chair has pneumatic height adjustment and a Kinemat® tilt that lets the body naturally pivot at the ankles, knees and hips.

This version of the chair also includes a tilt function that allows the user to select the tilt range to limit the amount of recline or forward incline that is best comfortable for daily use.

This chair also comes with an adjustable lumbar support, and fully adjustable arm pads that move 4" vertically and pivot 15º outward and 17 1/2º inward.

When designer Bill Stumpf set out to create the Aeron chair for Herman Miller, he wanted to differentiate it from all the other look-alike ergonomic chairs on the market. Recognizing that the human form has no straight lines, he designed this curvilinear model with Pellicle®, a material that conforms to your body and retains its shape when empty. Pellicle is lightweight, breathable and distributes weight evenly over the seat and the back of the chair for superior comfort and support.
