This drone functions very well especially for being a more "entry level" end drone. The GPS functions perfectly, the texture to home function was very accurate. The ability to set it to trim for drift makes flying it even in a light breeze literally a breeze. The camera quality is pretty good, it does not have any in camera stabilization. That being said if you are a good pilot and can fly smoothly, the footage is actually really good. I enjoyed this product and would recommend it again.

I recently purchased a HS 175D drone and really like it!  

I am a new drone enthusiast and am still building my flying skills.  As a new enthusiast I found this drone amazingly easy to use the controller and to fly the drone.  I also think more advanced users would like the drone features too.

This drone has an awesome 4K Camera with 120° wide-angle and 90° adjustable lens.  It takes great videos and photos (see a sample photo included with this review).

A really nice feature of this drone is its two modes of operation: Optical and GPS.  The GPS mode allows you to set the drone parameters for the maximum altitude and maximum distance.  The Optical mode is ideal for indoor flying as it leverages its two front facing and one bottom optical sensors.

I have found the following two unique drone features fun to play around with:
	* Follow Me Mode which follows and captures you wherever you move. 
	* Circle Flight Application which will automatically fly in a circular path to capture 
            photos and record videos around a point you set. 

This drone comes with two specially designed batteries that allow for about 20 minutes plus of flying time each (40 minutes plus total).  There is a battery meter on the top of the drone that displays the battery strength.  This flying time is better than most comparable drones.  The controller has an integral rechargeable battery.

The drone comes with its own carrying case.  Each drone motor arm is foldable and can be folded to compactly fit in the carrying case. The carrying case is very sturdy and protects the drone and controller.

A nice safely feature is the Return to Home feature.  If you ever lose sight or lose your orientation of flying this drone simply push the Return to Home button and it will fly to its originating Home Point.

I would recommend this drone for both beginners and more advanced users as it is very easy to use and operate.

A Really Fun Drone

This was a Christmas gift for my son and he ABSOLUTELY loves it!! I must add that since giving it to him and actually seeing it's capabilities, I am absolutely amazed that the drone is as good as it is for the price for which I paid for it! I really couldn't have asked for it to be any better than it is! This drone will not leave you feeling like you were “ripped off” in any way shape or form! It does EXACTLY EVERYTHING it stated it would! One of the things he likes most about the drone was that it came with a carrying case! This has allowed him to keep everything together and organized as well as making it easier for him to transport the drone from his vehicle to the location for which he is flying it from! Holy Stone Drone HS175D with 4K camera

I did 2 weeks of research, read every review and watched countless videos before deciding on the Holy Stone HS175D drone. What sold me was the price and stories of excellent customer service from the company. It's not unusual to have technical problems with an item like this and I feel confident they will be there to help me if I ever do. So far I've had no issues and everything worked great right out of the box. I did so much research I was practically already an expert on drones and knew exactly how to use it when I received it. So far, I've done several hours of flying.
The batteries last longer than they claim. I get about 25 minutes per battery. It comes with 3 charging cables so everything can be charged at once (2 batteries and the controller). Takes less than two hours if using a 2 amp power brick, 1 amp will take longer. You will need places to plug in USBs like a computer, powerbank or walwart.
The 4k still photographs are amazing.
The video quality is really good too, but it's not 4k as the ad makes it sound. It's 2.7k. and there is no gimbal or electronic image stabilization on this model so wind or quick movements will make the videos a bit shaky. It's not bad if you fly slowly for the shot. Camera stabilization is what really adds to the price of drones and wasn't a priority for me.
This drone does not have automatic geofencing that keeps it from flying in certain restricted zones like DJI brand does. I was concerned my close proximity to a restricted military zone would cause issues even though I'm not using it in the area.
The storage case is awesome and has room to hold everything including the extra propellers, chargers and stuff you may want to add.
It weighs under 250 grams which means you don't have to register it with the FAA.
The instructions are clear and there are many videos out there to walk you through the set up. It may seem a little confusing with the initial calibration, but once you learn it it's easy. Make sure you get a GPS lock and calibrate properly for the "return home" and other features to work properly.
Walmart had the best price at $17 less than Amazon along with fast, free shipping.

Some tips and notes:
You must have a 5g capable phone with 802.11ac for the live video feed and other features to work. You don't need internet or 5g internet, just a phone or device capable of connecting to 5g networks.
There is an alternate configuration for the controller that switches which stick controls what. I found this to be way easier to use because I'm left handed.
You don't have to register this drone, but to keep it legal anyone that flies any drone must pass a simple free quiz from the FAA called TRUST that goes over basic safety stuff. Do your research to learn about the rules. There are several apps that help you identify areas where you can fly and easily get instant FAA approval to fly in controlled airspaces. I use B4UFLY and Air Control.
Highly satisfied! I'll be getting another Holy Stone when I upgrade.
