That depends on your specific frame size.  Here is a website that will help you to determine the correct bicycle frame size for you, https://www.bicycle-guider.com/.

The frame is large enough, but you may be running the seat tube above its limit while in climbing mode in order to get proper knee bend geometry/power. A longer seat tube solves this, but it's an odd size so droppers are hard to find without using a shim.

The bike showed up on time in perfect condition. The box was intact with no dints or holes.  All of the parts were there. The paint finish welds etc on the frame were spot on.  The derailers didnt need any adjustments however i had to play with the front and rear disc brakes to make them work without dragging or rubbing. The handle bars and grips shifters and the break levers were as expected/new.  The tires and rims were fine and true and held air from the factory just has to add a little more air.  I havent serviced the cranks or the hubs but i expect that they are close to dry/no grease. The pedals work but they are cheap, ill replace them when they break.  Cool bike to buzz around the neighborhood.  I wouldnt do any drop ins or any massive jumps but it can handle small stuff.   If you know how to wheelie its super easy to get it to balance and turn corners on one wheel.  Its not a $500  bike but you get what you pay for! Its clean/sweet/I like it!

Honest review

Im ex bmxer, older,  wanted something different, this bike fit the bill. Friends (borrowed me a bike) took me out mtb last week had a blast.  Limited funds so bought this a few days later, planning a fun build upgrading suspension, wheelset, ect.. , next couple weeks. Just got it today,  needed some adjustment, (obvious since its thrown together and shipped in a box)! Packaged very well by the way. After I assembled went for a ride it felt pretty good, very pleased with purchase thumbs up to Hyper Bikes.

For the money this bike is amazing.  If your looking for a bike thats definitely worth upgrading components, this is definitely it!   With the right components this will compete with bikes way more expensive.   Amazing geometry!

Amazing and totally upgradeable!

I bought this bike just for the frame. Never rode it as it come. The only thing left at this point is the frame,rear suspension and headset. I believe that I will get many years of fun from this bike build. Total cost including bike....$1000.00

BSO RIDER'S HYPER XC

In its stock form its not the greatest,but as a platform for upgrading its going to be tough to beat it especially at 154.00. I bought mine at 199.00 and have been upgrading it since Christmas. I added an air fork, rear air shock, new handlebar, pedals, wheels,saddle,and a complete Shimano Deore drive train including Shimao M355 hydraulic brakes. Total cost is 1085.00 including the 227.00 that I paid for the bike and extended warranty. You would be hard pressed to find a bike with these components at this price.  This is a perfect bike to do a build. When warm weather finally comes to NW Penna. I'll be ready. Very happy with my purchase.

Good bike

This bike is a great value for the money. However, the manufacturing is poor. My wheel and disc brakes came bent, Brakes made a horrible sound. .. it rode great when it decided to switch gears correctly. Returned. I am currently waiting on another one, maybe I will get more lucky this time. Hoping to do many upgrades but I refuse to pay for new wheels right away.

Good Upgrade potential. Poor manufacturing.

I knew what I was getting:  A bargain bike that would need work to make it usable.  The wheels needed truing, the brakes dragged, and the rear deraileur was out of adjustment.  Now that all that is done, I have a decent bike.  Not a trail-pounding downhill beast, but a decent bike to buzz around the neighborhood on.  The rear spring can be adjusted from butter soft to hardtail rigid, but the front is soft and non-adjustable.  It doesn't take much to bottom it out.  I will be watching ebay for an upgraded front fork.  The rear brakes are a little soft for my taste, but that is due to the long cable from the handlebars to the rear caliper.   It is what it is, a cheap Walmart bike. Don't expect it to be something else.

this bike came with missing parts... no pedals, no QR skewer for the front wheel... this bike is unrideable!  I have extra peddles but no extra QR for the front wheel... I wish the CS was a button right next to the product in question...have not contacted CS yet, going to try to now OR they can foot the bill and pick it up!

Good looks-Very Poor  performance...

 First ride on light trail -rail derailleur broke off after 0.25 miles, had to walk it back to trail head!

 Apparently the rear derailleur is set too close to spokes and this is actually mentioned in YouTube Review by KevCentral titled "Hyper Hydroform Full Suspension Mountain Bike $199 at Walmart" at  2:30-2:40 where he talks about the derailleur and warns that it is set poorly (I saw the review after the derailleur broke on mine). 

Offer of replacement part for something that is consistenly breaking is not good (previous reviews on this site; mechanic inspection shows it is too close to spokes)

Repeat, unless fixed at the factory-the rear derailleur will break on first ride out of the box. 

Trail Ride Experience (sticker says it is suitable for rough trails...??? Does prove true) : Very noisy-chain bouncing around, excessive suspension rattle . Front suspension bottoms out on even small bumps at any speed above walking pace.



 Have had a Hyper Havoc 4 years and about couple hundred miles on pavement and probably 50 miles on light trails and its still "ok" but this  Hydroform was a disappointment given its good looks and price tag.
 Front derailleur difficult to set and makes lots of noise at extremes of low/high gear. 
Handle bar is too short and needs to be wider for a 29-er "mountain bike."

Rear Derailleur will Break on First Ride!

Received this bike as a gift for moving back to the Midwest. First ride and the back tire and brake was bent. I was headed back to the house after this discovery and the rear gearing literally broke off and went flying. The size is perfect, the bike itself barely made it 1/4 mile.
