Outstanding cooler, works as advertised, maybe better.

Great cooler.

We filled the cooler with 2 20lb bags of ice and 6 12 packs of soda on Sunday morning. Sunday was near 90. Cooler sat in direct sunlight all day. Monday was 97, cooler was left in the yard all day, direct sunlight. Tuesday was 97 as well, cooler sat in direct sun until about 5pm. Brought it inside to finally empty out. Sodas were still very cold and some ice was left. Very impressed. Great cooler.

Keeps cold even in direct sun for 3 days.

Easy to transport. Convenient compartments and trays for veggies/sunglasses/etc. keeps items cold for 4 days. Just like a Yeti without the huge price tag!

You don't need a yeti!

This cooler is INSANE! Love the big wheel and all of the special convenience features. Definitely worth the investment.

Worth it!

We had originally purchased a VERY expensive roto-molded cooler from one of the large outdoor outfitters, but after using it for a season, decided it was far too big and bulky to be practical for our needs. After watching some Youtube video reviews about coolers, we decided on the Igloo Trailmate Journey. We absolutely love it!!! Lightweight, easy to transport, good to sit on. The rod holders on the back were the icing on the cake, as we fish alot, and they are very convenient. If not used, they come off easily. Ice retention is very good, and this cooler is very easy to drain as well. We have gone through quite a few coolers over the years, and this one is by far our absolute favorite. Would definitely recommend picking one up, especially if you go places where the large wheels make it easy to transport as well.

Excellent cooler, better than many others out

Handle did not work upon delivery. Igloo sent a new one under warranty, as soon as I requested. Very cool cooler, cool features. Not a cooler for long expeditions, but great for a weekend at the lake.

Satisfied with Igloo customer service

Had high hopes as this thing looks cool and big. The problem was the lid didn't shut because of a screw the manufacturer put in for the lid tie. The cooler would not seal closed.
