It is staked into the ground. I got the IRONKIDS 100 and it came with them. They are also sold separately. The directions also give permanent cement installation instructions.

Ground stakes are included with the IRONKIDS Inspiration 300, however, the most stable assembly for all swing sets is to install the frame in cement in the ground

This product comes with iron stakes to secure the swing set to the ground.

This play set is exactly what I was wanting for my 3 year old daughter - she loves it!! The only downside is that it was very difficult to put together only because of the rope climb portion. The landing and crossbars at times didn't seem like they would ever fit together. We used all of our muscle power and struggled a lot with that part. The trick is finding some leverage, stretching the rope out, whole-body muscle power, and buying some longer screws. I think it was worth it though! All of the components are very quality and there is plenty of variety for my daughter to play with and get some good exercise in!

Fun Playset!

This was a Christmas present for my 3 year old grandson and he loves it! I almost didn't order because of the other reviews, but I am glad I did! Other reviews said the bolts were loose in the box and they did not get the right instructions and they had trouble with customer service, so I was hesitant to order this one. I had it shipped to my business and the box was in good shape, there was one hole in it where a rod had poked thru but nothing was missing or damaged. When we opened the box there was one loose bolt, nut and washer, but they were all still in the box. The bolts are already placed in the poles where they go so that makes it easier than trying to separate different sized bolts and figure out which bolt goes in which hole. The instructions were the correct instructions and at first hard to understand, but when I realized they were very detailed and it was easier to just look at the pictures and refer to the written directions when needed. We are used to putting things together so it was pretty straight forward for us. We did make a mistake when putting the rope climb on and only realized it after we got it all together so we had to take the rope climb apart and redo it. We had put the poles of the main swing set on the wrong side therefore the trampoline matt was upside down and the opening for the rope climb was on the wrong side. If we would not have made the mistake it would have taken about 4 hours to put it together and we were taking our time. There was one nut that was damaged, the plastic end on it was broken off, it was still useable but we wanted to get a new one because we didn't want our grandson getting scratched on it. I contacted customer service and I received a replacement in 4 days! Can't beat that! I usually don't write reviews, but felt like this swing set was getting a bad rap and wanted to let others know, that at least for us, it was a very good purchase!

Ironkids Inspiration 300 swing set

The swing set is very solid.  It took a few friends to put it together.  The instructions were sort of helpful, but we built it on basic look and feel.  One problem we had is that we assembled the steel structure without putting the climbing rope in first.  Oops, we had to unbolt it and then re-bolt it.  My children love the swing set, and the cool mist works great !!!  The mist only needs about 5 minutes of water, otherwise the swing set will start to get really wet.

This is a wonderful playset!  It is sturdy and fun for my 3 year old.
The platform and rope side was the most challenging part to figure out. The directions werenât very clear for this part.  Here is a tip that could save you an hour or two on installation:
The 3 bars that hold the black mesh platform get screwed into the main frame. However, when you are putting the black platform on the bars:
1. The solid side part with no holes goes against the rope climbing full side. 
2. The side with more holes goes on the bar that faces the swings.
3. The bar that goes at the top of the short rope side, where you can climb on the platform, you weave the top of the ropes on the bar as you move the bar through it where the holes are on the black platform on that side.

When you are ready to screw on the bars to the main frame:
See the pictures below.  If we didnât alternate the bar that is on the full climbing wall side we wouldnât have been able to get the holes to line up.  The 1st  picture shows how we put the two bars together the. Attached them to the frame.  The other picture shows the other side of that same bar and how they are on opposite sides.

Great playset! Read for tips for an easier install

The item arrived 1 day before expected. It included all pieces. Some were scratched. Set-up instructions were VERY confusing. It took 3 adults & several attempts to get the mesh deck on the rope climb feature correct. Tip: construct the bottom bars on the rope climb before attaching the mesh deck & bars. It will go together much easier. Also, mesh deck has cut outs for 1) the ropes on the half wall and 2) the Velcro loops on the safety net. It does not have cut outs for the full length wall of ropes. The instructions were unclear on this. After we realized the ropes on the full length wall do not thread through the mesh deck, the deck fit the bars correctly, and we completed construction with ease. Our three-year-old son loves the swing set. And it is a perfect size for our small yard. It is recommended through age 8. However, I think he will outgrow it about age 6.

For the price, I wasn't expecting top of the line but I did expect much more than what I got. The assembly was confusing and too technical. It took 3 very big gentlemen to assemble the rope ladder portion. One piece is missing which I have to order. The swings are nice and sturdy and the rope ladder is sturdy. The slide is very flimsy. If I had to do over, I would not have purchased. It's just too much of a headache to take it apart and return to store. Save yourself the frustration.

Disappointing purchase

Playground is nice but set up was extremely difficult. The frame on the climbing net is too small as well as the net. Since the frame is not made to the correct fit it took 4 men to pull it and be able to screw it together. It took approximately 10 hours to set up and we were not able to include the black net on it. Customer service from manufacture is great though. I recommend buying it only if you have a lot of patience and man power to build it.

Hard to built

purchased last August. Did not last 8 months.   Plastic covers over swing chains loaded-numerous cracks.  Nylon Cargo net- frayed.  Protective sunshade split in a spring rain.
Company provides 180 day warranty only! After noticing Suncover had split in the wind we noticed the other issues.  232 days after purchase...out of warranty.

DOES NOT LAST!  EXTREMELY POOR QUALITY.

The item came with no “refreshing mist” as indicated, and the rope broke within one week. After 7 weeks of trying, the company still will not respond to my follow up emails and they don't accept phone calls. You have to search their website and be creative to even find a way to contact them. They opened a help ticket but never followed through. I fear they will wait until the “return date” expires, using covid as their excuse for the delay in correcting this problem. They should not advertise the refreshing mist option, if that's not what you're getting and the rope should not break after a week. People need to search all pieces for the mist to see if it's there before putting the set together, and know that it's almost impossible to get support from Paradigm Health

Absolutely Disappointed!

So far, I am unable to get this playset together. After realizing that the directions have not been reprinted since the design of the playset changed (directions show straight legs, some covered in foam, package includes curved legs, none with foam) I began to guess at which pieces the hand-drawn diagrams were referring to. Apparently I guessed wrong because I've had to take almost every part I had together back apart to switch out the pieces with others. (Would it kill them to LABEL the parts???) I agree with other people's reviews that the triangle portion is manufactured wrong as I had to bend the cross braces just to make them come anywhere near the holes. I thought maybe the other reviewers just weren't very handy people, but no, the cross braces are apparently from the old straight-leg design. Two of the main parts were dented and scratched right out of the plastic. I wish I had bought a wooden playset, then I could at least drill new holes if it didn't fit together. NOT impressed.

Would NOT recommend this to anyone.
