NO. I ordered it for my 10 year old who is on the smaller side for his age and it was too small.

i&#39;m 5&#39;2 and the top of the trex head was at mine... (childs costume) but my little one is only 3&#39;2 ish! I think the kid could be a head shorter then I am and still fit just fine! hope this helps!

This costume fits children up to approximately 54'' in height. The T-rex dimensions are approximately 58" tall and 18" wide; tail is 34" long; and head is 18 x 10".

Costume worked perfectly had some issues with the zipper which makes me believe it wouldn't hold up much longer but got us though Halloween!

My son loves the costume . Only negative feedback is the size . Fits my son perfect and he is 3 years old . This costume is for bigger kids so I'm sure the actual age it's sized for this costume won't fit . The head section is really tight for my 3 year old so for a bigger kid I could imagine it will be impossible to put on without modification . But either way costume is awesome and gets attention .

Trex costume

I was very weiry about purchasing this product at first because so many times the blow up costumes tear easily. 
This product definitely withstood the test! I purchase a child costume and an adult one to use for my son's 3 year party. 
We were running in weeds, over rocks, and on dirt. The costume tail was rubbing he floor the whole time but never got ruined. 
The air pump it has inflates the costume fairly quickly and keeps you cool while wearing it. Myself and my 3 year old had no complaints about being too warm wearing it. 
Great buy!  (And it got here in one day)

Durable and loads of fun

Our son is 8 years old. He will soon be turning 9. He is 80lbs, 4'4, wears size 10/12 and this fit perfectly. I was worried because several reviews said it didn't fit their child. Thankfully it does! He is so excited. We have gotten many laughs out of it already.

I wish I can give it 5 stars because it is an awesome costume!!! My child had I think the best costume this year and everyone said so. The problem with the costume first of all is the size. The size states  M(8-10) and I can tell you it fits my 6 years old perfectly so the size should be S(5-6). My second issue are the head and face area. My son's head would not fit into the opening where the head goes so I took the adjuster off thinking it would work but it did not. I just did some cutting here and there hoping not to ruin the costume but my son's head finally fit in. I also cut the face area to fit my son's face because the opening was so small and constricting. I actually ruined the face area because I cut too much and air were escaping, therefore  made the t-rex's head very limp. I used tape to close the cut to trap the air inside but it did not work, maybe a little. The thing that did work was a pony tail holder and I am sure a rubber band would work better. Now with fan inside the costume I suggest using really good batteries that are long lasting, I used an off brand batteries and I think it lasted only an hour.

Awesome costume but.....

I got this for our 8 YO and she LOVED it!! She got so many compliments on it! The only complaint is that the opening for her head was weird, she complained a few times that she felt like it was choking her... it has a drawstring that's not functional due to the elastic band. She still got so many compliments, loved it and the fan lasted and still works although we used dollar store batteries. She looked so cute and funny "wobbling" along!

Weird Head Opening but still a Big Hit

the head opening that everyone talks about is the problem! my 4 year old (in a childs 8-10) costume should be big, BUT we couldn't get his head through the hole... then when you cut the elastic in the neck to get his head through the air escapes super fast if he moves the wrong way! So we are ordering the Godzilla costume because it doesn't have a "neck hole" even though it will be just as big! HE IS SUPER EXCITED TO LOOK REAL!! (because his face wont be sticking out the neck! :-)
