I would recommend this to anyone who wants to stay cool in the summer.  We went from burning up with the Frigidaire A/C to freezing in the bedroom.  It not only cools the bedroom but also keeps the living room cool as well.

These LG air conditioners are COLD

Easy to install.  Runs quietly and has been performing well for several months now.  I'm completely satisfied.

This unit cools the room very quickly and without much noise. The energy star feature for reduced power consumption is an added plus.

Very good A/C

The first one blew warm air, but the compressor never went on.  Easy return to Walmart store and re-order of the same thing.  Second one came quickly and works as expected.  Keeps the room cool and comfortable!

I bought this after summer started for a fairly large sized room upstairs where out central air doesn't go and it keeps the room, short hallway and even bathroom cooled right off when it's not too, hot. When it's in the 90's, I do need to close that room's door for a little while and let the room get cold, then let that cold air out into the hall & bathroom. Tip: if you open 1 door outside of those rooms (there's 2 more doors up there) and let the hot air blow out first, it doesn't take as long to get that nice chilly
effect.

I am a 54 yr old woman and the a/c was delivered to the front porch of my home.  My entrance is in the back and up 2 flights of stairs.  It was difficult but I got it up!!!  Funny that the weight is also 54 (pounds)!  I was able to install the side panels in about 1/2 an hour, I did not use all the other doo-dads suggested, I figured I'd do it next summer, when installing in the beginning of the summer.  I put it in my bedroom window, crossed my fingers and toes and turned on.  Again, so far so good!  I have never had a digital a/c before, so wasn't sure about the workings if it, but I am extremely satisfied.  It is so much quieter than my old, NON energy- efficient a/c and the 6,000 BTUs is perfect for my small bedroom.  I only have used the energy saving and fan modes because my September weather does not warrant anything stronger.  My intent was to try it out and make sure it worked before storing it for the winter.  My first Walmart purchase, other than using your pharmacy, which I also am extremely happy with!!  Thank you Walmart!!  P.S. I bought the 3 year warranty plan, keeping my fingers crossed I won't ever need it, but it makes me feel more secure.  The only reason I didn't give 5 stars, is because I just got!  Makes more sense to customers to see results after at least 2 years!!!

So far, so good...

I had to replace my window Ac unit late in the season an found this one online.
It arrived in a few days and had ir installed and running.
The unit has some features my old unit did not.
I like the dehumidify feature It will still keep the place cool with this feature and use it at nights.
I like the energy saving feature in that it shuts down the ac unit when the temperature is reached and will check every few minutes to see if the ac unit needs to kick on again..
I paid a bit more for this unit than the last unit I bought, but this one puts out more AC and has a few more features.

AC unit works great.

We bought two identical units in summer of 2015. This one is a disappointment and will be returned  .The plastic housing rattles. It is so loud one can't sleep with it on. The noise can be reduced with a shim under the front of the machine, but it is still noiser than the other ones. Too bad.
