We do not recommend standing up in the kayak while out on the water.

I&#39;m new to kayak fishing, the Lifetime Hydro 85 is my first fishing kayak.  I can say that I personally would not feel comfortable trying to stand in this kayak.

We love our kayaks! It is awesome to have a set. We won them at Cherry Hill. It is nice to have them be not to heavy or long to load and unload on our car. Out on the water they work great and allow for great exercise or just a beautiful view. We want to buy the kid ones when our kids our old enough. We plan to have them a life time ! We have 3 hydros!   We LOVE them!!!  We use them almost weekly. I love that they are lightweight and I can take my kids even if my husband is out of town or working late. We also love that the paddles can disconnect for easy moving and storage.  GREAT PRODUCT!!!

We couldn't be happier with our Lifetime kayaks.  From the young kids to the adults, we all have fun in them.  We are pleased with the comfort, performance, and ease of use.  We have several in different sizes and colors, but they are all enjoyed the same.  The kids love to float on the lake and explore while the adults will do that and more.  A lot of us use them for pure exercise activities while on the lake.  We will do laps both forward and backward to get the full experience.  We can't recommend them enough. Great for the beginner or even for an experienced kayaker. Bought for the kids that go about 130lbs and they are getting good enough they can even stand on them in calm water. Nice and stable.

Bought this recently so as to have something to paddle around the lake here in Wisconsin. Easy to use, comfortable and fun to get up close to see the many loons on our lake! I'm 5'2 and found this easy to use. Peice was right for an entry level beginners kayak. Now I'm off to catch the sunset from the kayak. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Fun for th elake

I really like this kayak.  It is comfortable and easy to maneuver.  It's a little heavy to carry for a 5' woman like myself, but the carry handle in the middle makes it much easier.  The seat is easily adjustable and conveniently folds down for flat storage.  The included paddle is great!!  Nice and long and the rubber water stops kept me dry.

Love my new sit-on-top kayak!!

I bought this kayak for a vacation rental we own.   Perfect water toy addition.   My personal kayak is almost too heavy for me to move.   This one is light and easy for me to get in the water by myself.   Paddle does come with it, so you have all you need.   Seat was comfortable, too.   My husband calls it a "toy" and says it doesn't qualify as a real kayak, but he is more of an expert.   Hopefully, it will hold up well to rental abuse!

Nice and light

We were suppose to receive the kayaks on the 27th of June and we had to call on the 1st of July to find out where they were.  After a few phone calls back and forth with the Walmart that they were to be delivered to and customer service on the web, we found them.  After picking the kayaks up (only wrapped in a plastic bag)  we got them home in time for the 4th of July weekend.  They were scratches on both kayaks.  The bungee cords keep falling off and the seat back would not stay connected.   I'm sure we can fix the last 2 problems and but seeing that we bought these new ,not used, it was a bit disappointing.   They look like we bought them off Craigs List.  They are very stable.  I would have added a few more pictures but could only upload 2.   I would recommend this to a friend after they check it out before they leave the store.

A bit disappointed

It was a nice kayak with some nice and considerate designs. We would absolutely love it if it didn't arrive damaged. There were more scratches than the pictures I posted, which was very disappointing that how careless the delivery company was. We tried it on the lake once and hoped that everything would still work, however, the big dent in the bottom made the kayak unbalanced.
