I've had my Kokanee for about 4years now and I love it! It's stable, great for beginners. Always in tow when I'm family camping every  summer. Even managed ok on Lake Tahoe. This durable steady vessel will always be in my fleet for my buds or anyone who may be scared of capsizing.

I bought this kayak about a year ago and I love every piece of it. Kayak is built strong, I was able to fit my two kids (5 and 7 Years old) my wife and myself comfortably, kayak is very stable even with three adults in it. You will have hours of fun and entertainment with this Kayak without spending too much money.

Awesome Kayak for the price.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have not used the kayak yet. I bought it early and have been waiting for it to warm up. I am hoping to use it in May. So far it is exactly what I had expected after looking at it online. Like I said, I haven't used it yet but I am kind of wishing there was an upgraded seat available, but I knew that when I bought it.

These kayaks are great for family adventures. They are heavy (require 2 adults to lift!) but so stable in the water. I was able to take two kids (5 and 8) out on the bay and they were jumping off and climbing back in without issue. Warning your butt will get wet due to the scupper holes, but the self draining is a huge plus! These boats are well worth the price. In the first two weeks we've had them we've been on 4 daylong trips with one adult and one or two kids plus a cooler and fishing gear or beach chairs in the boat. Bay, rivers, and lakes. All handled perfectly. Perfect starter kayaks for families. Well worth the money.

Family adventures await

I bought this kayak for double duty as a tandem for the family and a solo for myself. It is a little small for a true tandem, but when the front seat is removed and the rear seat is moved to the center position, it works well as a solo. The nice thing about this short tandem boat is that it's easy to haul in the bed of a truck, no rack required.

The only space for flush-mount pole holders is on the rear, which kind of interferes with the cargo net back there. I also need to install some carry handles on the sides for solo trips- it's heavy for a solo kayak.

I had the kayak shipped to my house. It came with two small holes on either side of the rear. I was able to plastic weld the HDPE back together with scraps from my pole-holder installation.

Overall, I am satisfied with this kayak for what it is.

Decent Kayak for the Cost

Nice basic beginner kayak for family fun at a very good price compared to others. Please note that it Does NOT Include Paddles so if you don't already have them you will need to purchase them separately, which bumps the price up much closer to what you would pay elsewhere for a similar item that has them included.

Inexpensive basic family fun kayak without paddles

When this kayak was delivered, there was a large dent in the nose.  After four phone calls to walmart.com I was able to get someone to authorize a return.  The kayak was picked up within two days but I have been spending the last six weeks trying to get a refund.  Right now I have no kayak and no refund.

Be Aware

This kayak seems like great quality and is a good price however, we jave received two that were badly damage by forklifts during the shipping process and one came the wring color/style.  Its been total confusion trying to re order these and arrange for the damaged ones picked back up.  I finally gave up and ordered them from a different supplier for more money.  It was a frustrating experience.
