There is a front cargo area with straps to secure your tackle box or cooler, and behind the back seat is a hollow storage hatch with a 6" cap for other items.

Yes there is some space in the middle with rubber holders.

There is a lot of extra room on this kayak. It says that it fits up to 3 people. But it's more like 2 adults and a small child. I bungee corded down an old milk create behind me for extra storage and there's plenty of extra room in front too. The dry storage compartment is kinda small and located in the very rear of the kayak so forget about accessing it while on the water.

Is there any room for additional equipment like tackle boxes, cooler, etc...

As this kayak is 10' long and 3' wide. so yes it should fit nicely.I have put mine on top of my jeep Cherokee.even though this is marketed as a 3 person its kinda like a tent it actually fits 2 nicely but to get 3 on it two would have to be small kids.

I bough this kayak for my sons 14th bday.  He loves it and I love it!   We've already used it on the Colorado River several times for fishing and just normal kayaking up and down.  

It's light, durable and a lot of fun to use.

This is an excellent kayak , has three poke holders for fishing which me and the wife do regularly , has 3 seats and cup holders , but is only really big enough for 2 people ( maybe a small child too ) the hard seats will wear on you after a few hours of kayaking so it would of been nice if it came with padded seats but they are pretty cheap and worth adding on to this kayak. I really enjoy the quality and design of this kayak , every time we take it out some one stops us and asks us about it because you don't see this style and color very often at all , we mostly use this in the sarasota bay so it can handle some rough water also.

I have: LIFETIME SPORT FISHER ANGLER 100 KAYAK, bought 5 or more years ago.  We've hauled it all over the country, either in our toy hauler or in the truck bed, used it on fresh and saltwater, all kinds of fishing.  My husband and I use it together.  I used to sit in the back and do the paddling while my husband fooled with the fishing poles, bait and tackle.  I'm in charge of the cooler and refilling refreshments.  We have room for the essentials.  We tried special kayak seats but found that regular floating boat cushions are best.  We got a 36 lb thrust saltwater trolling motor this winter and used it around Tampa where the tides can be pretty tough in a kayak for old people like us.  We bought the motor mount that's specially made for this kayak and it's very easy to use.  I do not miss paddling!  With heavy currents the motor is good for a couple hours.  On a calm lake it can go all day, extending our range greatly.  I see no reason why our kayak won't last a lifetime and we're very happy with it. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Absolutely love this Kayak. I'm a bigger person and I use this primary for hunting waterfowl. It is very stable and I can even take my adult son with me! Fits in the back of my Chevy pickup and I can load it by myself.

Great Kayak for bigger person

Purchased this kayak about a year ago and have used it nearly 20 times on several lake and rivers. Could not ask for a better fishing kayak. It's reasonably priced, very stable and has plenty of room for all my gear.  Lifetime is a great company as well.  I contacted them after I unfortunately did not screw my storage cap on tightly enough and it flew off during one of my trips.  With no questions asked they are sending me a new one free of charge! Plan on buying my next kayak from them in the future.

On top of great products they provide great services. I've had my kayak nearly 5 years now and it had a few defects I was willing to look over for a while. Eventually it started bothering my physical health so I filed a warranty claim. Within the week of filing a claim they'd sent a pickup for the kayak free of charge. I had to reschedule the pickup and the company they used to pick up my kayak were no less than amazing helping my clueless self with the process. Everything went smoothly, I'm more than satisfied, I'm amazed with their services.

bought about 7 years ago in australia. we take on annual camp trip to near a lake. big hit with families all using it, one after the other.
easy to load on to suv with right technique with two people. did not find the need to load with one person.
very stable, two people can comfortably sit. also with 2 plus a child.
no problems tracking.
not much water leaks in while kayaking.
may not be the fastest but for us stability is more impirtant.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Definitely heavy but stable.  Takes 2 people to carry. Motor mount was wobbly but I put a strip of rubber between the bracket and the vessel which fixed it. It tracks like a snake with a motor on it. Overall happy with the purchase.
