I've had my 9ti2 for close to a month now and am absolutely amazed every time I'm on the water. I can see things with the 3n1 transducer that couldn't with the lss2. I also like the wireless connectivity between the units.

Best in class!

I've only used this for about a month but I am so happy with it. Do the research on mounting transducer and level it correctly. You will need to adjust settings to your preference. But the touch screen is incredible, makes so easy to use. Also the Bluetooth capabilities are so useful. I mount my iPad upfront next to my trolling motor, it mirrors my main unit back at the helm and I can make any changes I need to, 2 screens for the same unit. The feature I can't wait to try is the connectivity with the motorguide Xi5 trolling motor. You can go to chart on the Ti5 and make a route and your Xi5 will take you there! Super happy with this unit!!!

The elite Ti2 provides terrific picture quality and almost every feature you could want at a great price. The active imaging and fish reveal features give you that extra confidence of knowing you are in a productive spot. I will be getting a second Ti2 in the near future.

Best unit I've ever owned

I bought this unit a month or so for my kayak. I also wanted to see if it was all that the reviewers said it was. Well it is!!! The sonar is crazy clear. Side scan is better than ever. The cost is great. I intend to buy two Elite 12 ti2s for my bass boat. My 3 current units on the boat are HDS Gen 2s. Outdated but can not afford HDS Live. These units to me are the better alternative. They are better than my current units and I can't wait to sync them up to each other with the WiFi.

This Is The Real Deal

I bought this unit 2 weeks ago to replace my older HDS unit.  I had plans on networking a couple units together, but never wanted to use the NMEA backbone system.  With the wireless connectivity, this was just what I was waiting for.  I also just bought the 7" Ti2 to network with this one.  Today was my first day on the water with the two units and they worked great!

Perfect upgrade

I got my TI 9 in February and my fishing took on another style. I live in Florida and the lakes average drop offs of 30 in spots. Shallow water info was suddenly relevant and the ease of creating and storing waypoints made my  months since a whole new experience. Equally valuable is the TI's outstanding ability to give an excellent image in even the brightest Florida sky. 
The side imaging is super valuable when I fish the dozens of docks in my area. 
By far, Lowrance TI is a weapon fish should fear. It's features and user friendly systems make using my electronics valuable and enjoyable.

Depth of Understanding

I bought the cmap version expecting better map resolution than the units of the past.  In product description it say preloaded high definition mapping which is far from the truth.  Im luckt to have difference between water and land, thats hiw bad preloaded mapping us.  I have been a diehard lowrance fan for many years and with the advancements in technology and the amount of money spent i would have expected much more.  My mapcreate maps from 10 years ago have much more detail than these units.  Need to be much clearer on product description than what they are.  If you plan on buying the mapping cards you will be fine and i didnt expect these to show every little detail but i did expect a whole lot more than what i got.  Now will have to spend 300 more for mapping cards.

Overall really good

The unit wouldn't read the water tried everything. Software said it was up to date unplugged it restarted it  numerous times. Everything else worked I think the transducer was bad I plan on ordering another because of the price so hopefully it works the second time around
