It is pretty stable with just one person, I am a big guy and have no problem when it is just me in it...hope this helps.

I sit on it by myself quite often and have never felt like it was unstable.

How stable is the swing with only one person swinging and sitting on it? Is it easy to tip over?

what is the distance from the bottom of the seat to the ground? I want to make sure my feet will be able to touch!

They are folded flat when you get them but after they are assembled with the rest of the swing they can not be laid flat.

Do that back of the chairs fold down so it can lay flat.

This swing sits outside on my back patio in Florida. We love it.  It is sturdy and is very comfortable plus looks really nice a well.  The dark brown and tan colors fit in with any color scheme. We love the beverage holder.. .. it also has a storage "bag" between the seats which has plenty of room for a book or magazine, small lap blanket or any other items you want to store in the bag.  We have bought other swings before but this one is the best one in we have bought so far.  The price is right too!! Great Product!

Great Swing!!!

Let me get this out of the way first...directions are difficult to understand, and parts are not easily identified. But once we (my sister and I) got it figured out, it finally went up, and it is beautiful.  I don't know why it is called "Big and Tall",  it doesn't seem bigger than ordinary swings, but the 2-seater design is nice, and comfortable. The seats look very nice, both with the fabric and the weave around the sides. Parts had come loose during shipping,  and the canopy has a small hole in it, but I called the number provided and will get a replacement. No hassle.  I would recommend to a friend, it looks great.

Very comfortable and perfect to set out on my patio next to the pool which is on the South side.  Provides some shade.  Took approximately 3 hours to put together, easy instructions.  Like to way the small part were sealed in packet and marked so you used the right part to put together the swing.  Very solid and recommend this product.
