I Love It!! It is so  easy to Handle and NOT Heavy At All!!

A Great Iron To Have!!!!

I picked up this little iron for my sewing projects & it works just fine. I've had no issues up to this point. No water leaks, no burns, so I'm happy w/it. Having turn the iron on & off w/the rotating knob is no big deal..not for me anyways. I don't know how it would fair w/actual clothes ironing, but for my small stuff, it does the job just fine.

I love this small baby... I wanted a small lightweight iron for easy ironing and this product does its job just fine. And $7 you can't beat the price...

Lightweight and easy to handle

I needed an inexpensive iron just for my sewing projects, & I was a little unsure about this iron since it has lower watts than what I’m used to using regularly - but this iron exceeded my expectations and works really well!  It’s a powerful thing to be lightweight & lower wattage - couldn’t be more perfect for what I needed (however, I do wish it had an auto-off feature since I can be forgetful about shutting it off, but for the price, this iron is still an excellent value, I understood it didn’t include that option & took that chance).  It did take a little getting use to turning it on & changing the settings with the dial because of where it’s located (in the middle underneath the handle, which is somewhat of a bit of a tight space, but I turn it on the sides of the dial while I’m holding my hand over the handle, just took a little getting use to).  I definitely would recommend this iron, was perfect for my projects, but definitely good enough even for all ironing tasks.

I had this iron last year when I moved to a new place. It is light weight, and does the job just fine. I don't see much different job performance between this iron and other heavier weight iron.

Does the job and good price

After only about 8 uses of ironing one shirt per use The iron started to smoke and the metal plate became bulged within a minute of being plugged in.

I'd give it 0 stars, if I could.

I needed an iron and fast. Now, it was my understanding that tools were created to make tasks simpler and take less time, not so for this iron! You're better off wetting your garment and laying it flat out in the sun. It will take less time for it to dry and it will probably look more presentable than it would after using this iron.

The plate isn't polished, so the iron cannot move freely on fabric. You have to slide it in the direction with the least amount of friction, but the iron will squeak with every movement. If you try to move it back and forth like you would a normal iron, it will catch the material and just wrinkle it more. Even when you're moving it in one direction, it still doesn't smooth out wrinkles, so basically, this iron doesn't do anything it's meant to do.

With it being so cheap, I expected it to splatter out water randomly (don't worry, it does), but I at least expected it to do what it was created to do. It does not. It took me 35 minutes to "iron" one shirt-- it's still wrinkled.  Do not buy this item.

I expected nothing, and I was still disappointed. Thanks, Walmart!

An Iron that can't even Iron

Leaked both from the cord and from the edges. Note for the manufacturer: plastic on plastic doesn't often seal well; try some rubber gaskets, easy to do and won't increase difficulty of manufacture to any notable degree. There's a reason your product was marked down from an original 30-some dollars to less than 10.

Leaked too much to use, right out of box.
