Hard-Anodized Aluminum Provides Quick, Even Heat

Aluminum is well-known for its ability to transfer heat and distribute it evenly. For that reason, chefs around the world choose it for their cooking needs. Hard-anodized aluminum is specially treated to make the metal stronger, improve its resistance to abrasion and prevent chemicals from leaching into the food. In the case of the Member's Mark 15-Piece Hard Anodized Aluminum Cookware Set, this results in a safe, extremely efficient piece of cookware that is very hard to scratch. It can take abuse from various kitchen utensils and can be used in an oven as hot as 450°F (232°C) without lids; up to 350°F (176°C) with lids.

Benefits of Cooking with Nonstick Pots and Pans

When aluminum is hard-anodized, it has fewer pores in its surface. This makes it a great nonstick solution because the food cannot sink into it and get stuck there. The Member's Mark 15-Piece Hard Anodized Aluminum Cookware Set has the added feature of using PFOA-free Teflon platinum nonstick coating. Because the surface is so resistant to sticking, you don’t have to use as much oil or grease while cooking. This reduces the fat content of your meals. It also makes the clean-up process faster and easier. Say goodbye to heavy scrubbing and scraping that could damage your cooking surfaces.

Care and Storage

  • Dishwasher safe, hand washing recommended
  • Pots, pans and lids are oven safe up to 450°F (232°C) without lids; up to 350°F (176°C) with lids.
  • Suitable for use on gas, electric and ceramic glass stovetops
  • These pans are not suitable for induction cooktops

Cleaning Before First Use

  • Handwash your pans in warm, soapy water.

After Cooking

  • Allow your cookware to cool down completely before running cold water it (to avoid warping your pans!).
  • Once the pans are cool, clean the interior of the pans with warm, soapy water and a non-abrasive dishcloth or sponge.
  • Dry with a soft towel.

Can I use metal utensils in these pans?

No, we don't recommend using any utensils with sharp corners that could damage the nonstick interior. We recommend soft cooking tools made of wood, nylon or silicon to keep the interiors in tip-top condition.

Do the handles stay cool while cooking?

The handles should stay cool while on the stovetop, but we recommend using a potholder when handling the cookware from the oven.

Which cooktops are compatible with these pots and pans?

This set of pots and pans can be used on gas, electric and ceramic glass stovetops, but not induction stovetops.

Can these pans be stacked inside one another?

Yes! But to protect the nonstick interiors, we recommend placing towels or silicone cookware protectors in between the pans when nesting them inside each other.
