This review is about the Moosejaw cooler. The cooler that I have weights about 30 pounds when it is empty. There are no wheels on this item but I must say that it is a necessary commodity.  I like the size of this cooler because it is able to store many items. I like the reinforced handles on each side because they allow me to carry this cooler easily. I like that the Moosejaw cooler not only comes with a stainless steel bottle opener, but there is a built-in storage spot for the bottle opener to be kept.  One of my favorite features on this cooler is the two slots where padlocks can be used for extra security. This cooler is very well crafted and durable. The cooler that I have is 50 quarts which is more than enough space for me to store necessary items. I like that the cap on the drain port stays attached to the cooler even when it's unscrewed. This is important for me because it's one less item I have to keep up with. This cooler is easy to clean too. I like the Moosejaw cooler because it keeps my food and beverages cold and secure. I am definitely satisfied with this item and I highly recommend it.

A definite must have item!

What a great cooler. It's very well made, very sturdy, secures into a truck bed easily and keeps drinks cold forever. I had ice last in mine, for 3 days before it all finally melted. This cooler is outstanding. Just as good as more pricey brands. Holds a ton, looks good and works great. What more could you ask for?

Keeps ice for 3 days

This is a 50 quart Ice-cooler.  It is big and STRONG but heavy, so it will take two people on either side to carry once loaded or you can load into vehicle and leave it there.  If you open and close quickly and don't open too often the food or drinks stored in there with ice cubes will stay cold for days.  So this is good for a camping trip with no utilities.   It has a water outlet for easy cleaning once home.  It also comes with a bottle opener.  It has great instruction on how to use and a warning not to leave open as children or pets could get stuck in there and not easily get out.  The latches close easily and clip open easily too.  It has a large space for drinks or food and also a food tray separate at the top.

MOOSEJAW ICE FORT

I love this cooler!  Very well made and gives high end vibes!  Seal gasket on top lid, side drain on base to empty liquid.  Locks to lock lid to avoid accidental spills.  Comes with upper bucket and bottle opener.  Comes with rope handles and feet on the bottom of the cooler to avoid scratching.  Top lid has a ruler which definitely comes in handy to see what fish to keep or toss back and the cooler itself makes the best livewell!

Perfect for fishing!

We needed a cooler to hold enough supplies for spring break and not pay >$500!  This Moosejaw is no joke.  The cooler is heavy duty, the clamps that shut it are thick and secured and I can easily move it from camper to picnic table.  It has a fish measurements on the lid, too.

Heavy Duty won't let you down

I believe this one is virtually indestructible pretty awesome. It looks good too as well as being functional. It's even got the measuring on top of it so I can see how big my fish is! A great feature is that it's got this metal bottle over that goes on either side of it so I can't put it in the wrong place it does have the firm notches in there for handles but it's also got the Rope ones that make it easier to maneuver. And it has a little tray in it for stuff that you don't want down in the bottom that's real niceThe Moosejaw is so pretty I love that design

Bottle opener is a real nice touch

Stop looking for a better cooler. This is hands down the best in every way possible. It has steel pin hinges on the lid and the latches both. The handles are made with soft nylon rope with heavy comfortable handles that are replaceable. The lid has a rubber gasket. The drain is tougher than an alley cat. I accidentally dropped it off the tailgate of my truck and barely scratched it. It has a tray inside to keep stuff dry and off the ice. it has dual locking holes to keep the critters out, lol, as if they could get past the insane latches on this thing!

Unbeatable in every category

First off this place is SUPER THICK QUALITY plastic. The rope straps on either side feel really strong and sturdy. The clips that close the cooler have a really heavy duty feeling to them. This has a spout at the bottom to drain any liquid out. Heavy but not too heavy. I'd recommend!

Great all-around cooler!

This MooseJaw 50 Quart cooler is awesome, great quality and gets the job done! The best one I have ever owned. I love the design and the removable tray. It's easy to clean, coated with Microban and the drainage hole on the side is very convenient. Cons: It's heavy even when empty and could be improved by adding wheels and a handle to make it more portable.

If I could give less than 1 star I would. This cooler is complete trash. The company advertises complete lies. It has a look to it thats convincing but will NOT hold ice for any amount of time even with PRE CHILLED items. I wasted a lot of money on this for my husband for Father's Day, so please heed this warning. DO. NOT. WASTE. YOUR. MONEY. It's not worth it. It isn't even worth half the price. And Wal-mart will not let you return for your money back! No matter how many good reviews you read, please read this one and know this is by far the worst cooler I've ever purchased. It doesnt even hold ice longer than my $30 igloo cooler. Don't fall for this false advertising and lies.
