This was a little difficult to set up as it has so many features.  Ie:  photo, burst of 3 photos at once, video and time lapsed video.  Just set it up a couple weeks ago and can't wait to take a look at what I've got running around out here!

Great Game Cam

Wish we would have seen this one sooner.  We bought a security camera but was disappointed with the trigger field.  The game camera is catching any car, person or animal within 70 feet.  This camera is now used primarily for security.  There is no delay for the photos and the resolution in the shots is absolutely great!

We have 4 other trail cams that are a different brand but we really like this one the best. We really like the playback that you can watch on the camera itself, without having to bring the SD card home to play it on the computer.

It's the best

I am currently running 4 of these cameras.  The pictures are awesome but that is what you get with 20 mega pixels. I use this for pictures as well as video.  The videos are great and it is sweet that they are in HD.  Trigger Speed is fast and 36 LED's give me great range.  The directions say 70 ft but I have pictures of deer father away. Battery life is awesome I change them out about every 2000 pictures.  I use a 32 MB SD card with these cameras.  The built in picture viewer is great especially when I need to check for recent deer movement without having to pull the card and view it from a computer.  It works great with the Moultrie Modem too.  The only thing I regret was paying full price at this price I will buy a couple more. I highly recommend this camera.  One last thing is I had a few questions about the cameras before I purchased them and talked to a customer service rep and he was awesome and answered all my questions. They were very knowledgeable.  Sorry for the long review. Moultrie cameras rock!

Awesome Camera

I bought this camera to catch a person who was throwing litter in my yard. It is such a perfect camouflage that I really can't see it when it is on the tree. The night time pictures are perfect and very clear. Day time pictures are also excellent.   I bought the stand for it as well and it is a great piece-Meaning I can now have the camera anywhere I wish.  The camera is easy to use and I am not a tech-y person!  I will use this excellent camera for many purposes.   I would definitely encourage a friend to buy this for backyard viewing of wildlife or whatever.

Moultrie game camera

Got the m999i for scouting for turks in Bama.  Started with one and love it.  Got 3 toms hanging around and the best part is the camera hooks up to the Moultrie Mobile and sends me real time pics.  I am going to grab a couple more before deer season I hope.  Great picture and video quality!

A little more money than I had planed to spend but turns out to be worth it.  I am interested in viewing wildlife around our property and occasionally want to monitor our remote driveway and I have had some excellent results.

Photo quality is excellent even on lesser resolution settings and motion sensitivity can be set on high or low.. and low works very well.

Instruction booklet ok but took a little time getting to "start" mode.... never the less...

Excellent Product

Others boast about their trigger speed, clarity, low light, sun strike, etc abilities. I'll tell you this straight up, from someone who's spent a lot on trail cams. For the price you get a lot! While I've not used all its abilities yet, just from the straight up photo ability this game cam will serve you well! It provides everything you need to know what and when something shows up! It is definitely water proof/resistant. Since I mounted the first one we've had a few very heavy rain storms with high wind and my cam is literally exposed to everything.

I've provided a couple of images in various situations including direct sunstrike and motion. I've purchased 3 now and the other two wet up today.

The set up is really straight forward. Once done make sure you use the proper SD card. You don't need or want the super fast ones. That is not what the cam needs. Just the basic is fine. Putting the SD card in is super easy. Getting it back out is about the only little negative issue as it doesn't stick out very far when you push and release it. So there's only a small edge to grab hold of. If you don't have any finger nails I'd suggest a cheap pair of tweezers at worst. The batter pack is simple to eject, fill and push back in.

It mounts just like virtually all game cams Navigating through the menus is pretty straight forward and the instructions are very clear in the booklet.

Better than my cuddyback!

This camera is very user friendly! it is quick and easy to set up and consistently takes clear, fast images with its 1/2 second trigger speed.  The camera's  infrared feature will give you the same great quality pictures in the dark as well. I would recommend this camera to everyone!

MOULTRIE M-999i

Great deal, I purchased this camera on line through Sam's.  Great Price!  Only wish it had the capability to take color night photo's.  Night photo's are B & W with a greyish look.  But you can clearly see the moving image. Haven't tried the video yet.  The batteries have been in it for a month with no signs of wearing down.
