The nighthawk app makes the router easy to setup up and monitor. The UI is clear and easy to use and allows you to monitor active users, test connection speeds, and adjust preferences with ease, all from your mobile device. So long to the days of entering your gateway IP into your browser to access your router. So far the connection has been flawless.

Awesome App

Followed instructions for cell phone based configuration. Wasted a lot of time, used browser based 'wizard' like the old routers and things went much better and faster. More choices this way than cell phone. 

The routers work fine. I can't say they are better or faster than the old ones but they are just as stable. One of the old WNDR4500's did not want to cooperate anymore. 

I liked the bookend style of the old ones. The new AX2400 hang on the wall above cupboards/bookshelves and look ridiculous. Spaceman Spiff meets Will Robinson. All the wires are exposed. But cannot see the status lights with the units laying flat. Progress has it's price.

This is my second Netgear Router in 3 years. I'm looking forward to 3 years with my new Nighthawk which has more power than my old Netgear Router. It's operation is faster and response time makes my tvs and laptops less frustrating to use.

RAX29 Nighthawk Router

I like that I haven't experienced buffering when I watch tv. My devices do great with wifi as well. The size fits better where it's at  than a rectangular one. I recommend it.

Like it and spent more but get my moneys worth!

I don't usually write reviews but I will go ahead and put my two cents in. Setup was SUPER easy especially with the app. It took maybe 30 minutes total from taking it out the box to connecting my first device. The app has blocked a couple of Malware attempts which keeps me at ease because I won't have constantly keep my eye out on my network. I am happy to say that so far this brand has me a customer for life, now I've only had it for about a week now and I will update again in 6 months. This has also increased my speed and my coverage that I get from my ISP. Long story short this product is 10/10 and I will definitely recommend this router and other routers from NetGear!

Great device!

We had a linksys and it was trash. Internet would go in and out, work one minute and not work the next. It was horrible. I bought this router because of the price and I’d had one for years before power surging took it out. I live in a cabin behind the house the router is in. I have a great and steady connection through 2 bedrooms, a bathroom, and about 20ft of carport. It’s coming through all those walls and I still don’t have any lag in my online gaming. We have 3 Rokus streaming, wifi camera system, an Xbox, 4 iPhones and an iPad all connected. Even with all TVs streaming I’m still able to play multiplayer games with little to no lagging at all. Setup was super easy and fast. The app has great features. You literally can’t beat this for the price… just get it. I’m adding a picture of current speeds.

Great router.

Not a bad review on the product because I refuse to use a used router that was sold to me as a new product. It was also the last one on the shelf at the Wal Mart in Plainview, TX.  Wal Mart shouldn’t put used items back on the shelf to sale.  The router had been obviously used. The box and instructions sheet was also written on the with someone’s wifi info. Come on Wal Mart you can do better!!!

I literally was unable to get my product, and was told in summary - oh well, dispute the charge. I just would like to have faith im a company I took pride in working for and was even offered Team lead position in **** Ga peachtree parkway location - have loved this company for years and have dedicated years to you guys. I have never seen such a unprofessional third party service - No way they were walmart workers
