Yes, the bag comes with a pretty good compression bag. With a little work you can get it down to a little bigger than a football.

I just bought this and picked it up in the store. When I got home, I discovered that the sleeping bag is marked as an XL with dimensions 91" x 37" x 27". My first reaction is that I was sent the wrong sleeping bag. However, when I looked for the model #, it was correctly tagged as MU-EU40FEX-RI.

Walmart sells an XL version (Walmart #: 552380533), which has the dimensions 91" x 37" x 27". I just noticed that this bag also has the same model # MU-EU40FEX-RI. The bag I received looks like the picture of the 86.5" bag with an orange inside and not red inside like the other XL picture.

Perhaps Ozark changed the product and reused the same model #. The old bags are orange and the new ones are red. The bag I got has a Manufacturing delivery date of Feb 25, 2014, so it must be old stock that Walmart has in its warehouse and is why it was so inexpensive as a clearance item for $18.97.

Anyway, I tested the bag out and it is quite comfortable and roomy for me as a 5' 6" person and probably better in the long run than the regular sized bag that is 4.5" shorter and 3.5" narrower. For fall/winter use, this is probably an advantage since I would wear additional layers of clothes to keep me warm and the extra bulk will work better with a slightly larger bag.

The bag length from top of the head to the toe is 91inches. The measurement from chin to toe is about 75 inches, which is equivalent to most rectangular sleeping bags. It is pretty light and the tag says the filling weighs 0.44 lbs.

Overall, I am satisfied with what I got for a great clearance price!

Incorrect description, but still a good bag

Okay I bought this bag because I didn't really have time to look around but I have been happy with it, if you use it correctly, and by that I mean, I would not count on this bag keeping me warm if it's under 55. The 40 degree rating is just not realistic. And for a 50 degree bag it's kind of heavy but again for the price it's not bad.
