The Dutch oven is 5 quarts and the round skillet is 10 inches wide.

What size is the Dutch oven and other pans

You don't put cast iron cookware in a dishwasher. You hand wash it and dry carefully to not strip off the seasoning work that goes into making cast iron "non stick". Otherwise, you have to re-season it.

Most of the Pioneer Woman stuff is made in China, however, this product doesn't show the origin in the description. It's all foundry cast and probably doesn't make any difference. Cast iron will rust if neglected. You season them with oil and bake it on to create a non-stick cook layer. However, if it is subjected to moisture and neglected, it will rust because it is made of iron. Good news is that it can be cleaned and re-seasoned if need be. I do believe these come pre-seasoned though.

For those who didn't like their purchase, it's because they didn't read it!  It clearly shows that the other items that come with this set are MINI.  States it in the description.  The dutch oven and fry pan is a normal size and you can see the others are small.  I can see several uses for these!  There are times when I need to cook a very small amount of something like a sauce or a topping and these are great for that!  Use the smallest one to melt butter, etc..  Just READ the description before you make your purchases!  Love this set!

READ THE DESCRIPTION

MINI......described as it is..  quality cast iron.  Now with that being said I agree lil pricey but there is NOTHING deceptive about the description...MINI. And if you look at the picture a 10 inch skillet and 5qt cast iron pan the comparison size is there in full color.  So 5 stars for honesty and quality.  Jus pricey would have bought two sets if not so much.

This set is okay. I definitely thought the other pans were larger, so it is a slightly deceiving picture. The smaller cast iron pans are essentially a single person serving size. I really don't have any use for pans that small and will likely be donating 1/2 of the set. The larger pans are great, although mine came chipped.

I might have reconsidered if I had known

I was so excited to get this set on black Friday, I picked it up today and started taken it all out of the box and discovered they are TINY!! The larger teal pot was super cute. Needless to say it is all being rerurned sadly.

Totally disappointed

I was wanting a good cast iron set. This meet my expectations until I started opening the box and saw that the pots and lids were child size! The skillet and the big pot with lid, were normal size. So disappointed. Returned them. If collecting this is the set but if cooking, no.
